During my absence, someone came into our backyard and smeared jelly all over the patio windows and furniture. Nothing was taken or damaged, but my wife was really spooked by the incident, so we decided a lock on the gate would be appropriate. I don't want to have to carry a key to get in and she is a bit short to reach over and unlock the gate, so something else was needed. I found on Amazon a mechanical (no batteries) digital double pushbutton lock. I purchased it and the suggested lockbox for installation. I needed someone to cut the gate frame and rib, weld in the steel lockbox, and install the lock. E & M's Metal Works came to the rescue! The initial estimate was quite high, but Michelle sent out Elvis, a very talented welder, to check what we needed done and the cost, while still expensive, came down significantly. Elvis came on a Saturday morning and did all of the necessary work. He is not only a talented individual, but also extremely precise and cares that a job gets done correctly the first time!! He worked for several hours, also welding on tabs so the gate slats had something to fasten to. Elvis did not leave until everything was in working order. He and Michele at E & M"s Metal Works gets rave reviews and a 5 Star Rating in my book.
