If I could do less than one star, I would. This was THE worst butcher job I've ever had! Plus it cost an arm and leg! They left bones in all of my meet, literally the steaks and roasts all have bones. I've had 3 cows butchered by different butchers and never have I had to ask for the bones to be removed, it's just what they do. They didn't cut any of the fat off of anything, even though I requested the tallow, the roasts are more fat than meat. I asked for 2lb packages of burger and 4 steaks to a pack, that didn't happen, the burger is in 1lb cumbersome, slippery, misshapen packs and the steaks are huge, literally too big to cook 2 in my big cast iron pan on the stove, and they are only 2 in a pack. And to top it all off, it's just wrapped in plastic, it's slippery and there are holes torn in the plastic just through the process of picking it up and bringing it home, so now my super expensive, grass fed meat will be freezer burnt! Basically, it looks like they were in a big hurry to chop my cow up as fast as possible, they rushed through and slopped it into packages and they didn't even bother to read my cut sheet. And when I called to ask if they forgot the tallow, he told me that our cow didn't have any, and then hung up on me! When I called back I was told that I was now speaking to the owner, the father of the punk kid that had hung up on me earlier. I was then lied to, and basically told that I'm stupid for thinking that ANY butcher would remove bones without being asked and charging extra. So not only do they do sloppy work and charge ridiculous prices, they also have zero customer service and treat people like idiots for questioning how they cut up the cow that they just spent a small fortune on! I want everyone to know that this place is a total joke! Do not, ever, take a cow here to be butchered!

We have used them 3 years now for processing our wild game. Specifically venison. The first year we were happy with how they cut the meat and the hamburger. Last year was a disaster. I have pictures to show my back strap. They did a horrible job. The hamburger was fine. This year we decided, due to lack of time to debone and process ourselves, to take our 2 deer to them again. We cut out the back strap and tenderloins. They had to debone and turn rest into hamburger. Well, we have bones in the hamburger. I called about it and they couldn't tell me much. Don't waste your wild game with them. I'm upset with how poorly everything was cut up. They destroyed my back straps.

We won't use them again. We will take the time and extra money to go to Eggers if we aren't able to process it ourselves. They are nice there. That is a plus.

My steers they butchered tasted like the freezer was off, I had to throw my meat out and am still hearing about the taste of that meat today, the meat both smelled bad and tasted bad, this was a 15 month old steer, I also had 2 pigs processed and gave them to my kids again, a rancid smell was present and was easily identified in the taste, a lot of money and meat wasted here. Will not be back

Great job on our meat! Im 50 and my dad hired them when I was a kid I think. Absolutely no complaints! We had a very bad experience with another butcher so beware! We found mold etc:

Very disappointed in the 1/2 beef we had processed here. Sloppy cuts and a lot of silverskin present on majority of cuts. Stew meat with 3 and 4oz chunks. Night and day difference compared to previous experiences and not in a good way. Would not recommend

1,300 lbs of meat from 2 cows received 1 tri tip 1 1/2 lb, no tender lion at all. The T-Bone steaks were missing the best part, missing other cuts also. When we called to see if we missed a few crates of meat they said no. Not impressed 👎🏻

Kerry and his son showed up on time. Put two beef cows down, cleaned up and were pulling out in 1 hour later. Julie was excellent in helping with how we wanted our beef package... EXCELLENT all the way, would use again.

Our family has used Dunham’s for over 4 decades. What pleases us the most is the double shrink wrap. The meat lasts a lot longer in the freezer and you can see what it is by looking at it. The family atmosphere dealing with Terry and Julie, who currently own Dunham’s, makes it fun. We have butchered 5 beef and 5 hogs a year for our customers and in 40 years have had only one complaint but that customer still uses Dunham’s for his beef.
