I love this library! Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. If they don’t have the book you’re looking for, they will locate it and have it sent for you to pick up.❤️❤️❤️

Great selection of books and other media. Kids room upstairs, movies and lectures/presentations downstairs. Plenty of computers and even a 3-D printer. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Edit 3/24/24: Maps asked me for an update, and yes this place just keeps getting better. Not only can you borrow outdoor games like (a safe) lawn darts, indoor games like giant Jenga, you can borrow a VCR! Complete with cords! 7/22/24 And musical instruments! This place just keeps getting better.

Douglas Library is a wonderful place to visit, find a good book to read or relax while reading the many news papers that are available. Unfortunately there are times when the library gets overrun by many young people who find it more to be a place where they can gather socially than to study.. I am all for this. Young people need a venue where they can socialize. But a public library should not be this place. Trying to read and concentrate when the library is filled makes it impossible to be there.

This is a quite a gem of a library tucked away in Hebron, CT.

Looking from the road, the library looks like a small building but until you go in, you don't realize how far back it goes and is much bigger than it appears.

The front room is the original library with historical information, a comfortable mini museum with Connecticut as well as Hebron history, magazines and even a puzzle to work on.

The main floor has the adult library which is very well lit and attractive.

Upstairs is the Children's library which is very colorful and inviting with one section set aside for teens and a separate room for children's story time .

They also have a basement area where they hold book sales a few times a year.

Truly a gem worth visiting again!

Good library but impossible to read or study when the high school teens are there. Had to go to an out of town library just to read quietly.

Great library. Many sections, a kids area, an adult area with a teen center off to the side, and ameeting area downstairs. Great library and good selection. Right in the center of Hebron and in the Herbron Center Historic District, a United States National Register for Historic Places. Overall good library.

Love the Douglas Library book sale. Glad the library could fit one in this fall. Children's books were outside so nice in the sun and easier to keep social distancing.

Great library with a large selection of books and DVDs. We live in Andover but like the selection better in Hebron!
