Best hay available in Colorado. Always tested and guaranteed. Mike and Melissa have been taking good care of us and our horses for three years now, and we won't go anywhere else. I’m going to leave a one star review. My husband came on here to leave a review in which they replied with blatant lies.

They did tell him they had 2 string alfalfa stocked year round. After all the hassle and trouble we went to, to find a place that did. They only offered us white strap bales today which we were told is NOT straight alfalfa. Now I don’t know what they think they know about horses. But switching hay is never a good thing. Especially for rescues. So why they even thought this acceptable is beyond me.

But to respond as owners and say that “we didn’t say that” , we know you did. We would not have chosen to use you all consistently if you had told us you couldn’t be consistent.

We are very happy to continue to drive to Pueblo for $10 a bale and know we are getting Colorado grown hay and exactly what’s going into it and who is handling it.

The alfalfa bales to begin with were light and never flaked out well. Al the “alfalfa” we got was full of grass and the horses didn’t eat it. I have plenty of photos and videos. When we said something about it. The response? “Yeah a lot of people have complained but the best we can do is a 5% discount” but when we started going to them
They said they stood behind their hay and guaranteed it.

This business has no business dealing in Alfalfa.

Nice people but crap hay. My horses wouldn’t eat it. Way too steamy too much straw mixed in with it. We ended up donating it to a local shelter

I've been buying hay from Mike and Melissa before their location on CR13 was built. All of their hay has been top rate. Their professionalism and friendly nature is a pleasure every time I'm there. Their prices are the best. Kudos!
