Very happy working with Domestic for our complete kitchen renovation. Julie, the designer, offered great guidance and made valuable suggestions. They were very flexible and accommodating with changes to schedule based on various material delays on my end. Installers were fast and efficient as well as being committed to making sure we are 100% satisfied with the end result. Functionally, cabinets are robust and solid, and details are very fine.

One thing I love is the feel of a family business being able to directly call the owner morning, noon or night! Tired of the corporate shuffle, with poor customer service. Frank the owner totally catered to my wishlist, finding ways to give me what I wanted in a price I can afford! We all know that’s very hard these days. I love my kitchen design , but the functionality of it is what speaks to me the most . As a busy mom of 2 boys the kitchen is the heart of our home. Frank and Julie the designer created what would work for our life style and be durable with the kids & dogs (who love to jump up from time to time.) one thing I can say about domestic is there willingness to put together designs that are beautiful and upscale yet keep the customers budget in mind . I’m thrilled I spend most of my time in my kitchen cooking for my fam & working from my labtop.

The team at Domestic Kitchens is TOP NOTCH. We just completed a major bathroom remodeling project with them. They are unsurpassed not only in the quality of their beautiful cabinetry, but also in their total coordination of design, plumbing, counters and sinks, and installation. They are the best around. Surprisingly, they were also highly price competitive with the frequently cited White's and other outlets, who simply sell you the hardware and leave you on your own with the rest. The team at Domestic never let us down once and their sub contractors were great.

We did a renovation and by far the best part was the kitchen cabinetry. It is absolutely gorgeous and the team at Domestic Kitchens was fantastic. I loved that when I went in for design meetings they took me right back to the factory and I got to see real craftsmen building the entire kitchens and cabinetry. I would highly recommend them!

I have worked with Domestic Kitchens over 30 years on 7 different houses of my own, each with new kitchen and bath cabinets. DK has been great to work with, and always seems flexible to go "outside the box": i.e., they even custom-built a kitchen table (we have kept it thru 5 houses!) and an L-shaped, built-in kitchen bench to maximize space in an otherwise tight seating area. They also have built-from-scratch to outfit the interior finishings on all my cabinets, with anything I request -- all in the original quoted price. I appreciate this approach rather than feeling that I will be nickeled-and-dimed for every request along the way. This year they/we experimented with a new contemporary hi-gloss laminate design for one house, and a Shaker-style kitchen in another. They always return for touch-ups and door adjustments, and have been available years down the road for anything needed. And Nina's designs are more thoughtful about the nuances of a kitchen, than any architect I have hired -- she is excellent given her daily focus on making exceptional kitchens that are highly practical.
There have been occasions at the height of their busy season, that I have had to follow-up an unreturned phone call with an office visit, to check in on progress on a job. But that rolls off my back, given my satisfaction with their product and service over so many years that keeps me coming back.
As a realtor, I get to see quite a few kitchens over the course of a year. Recently, I had the fun of seeing the 1st kitchen DK designed/installed for us in Westport 30 years ago. It was gratifying to see it still functional and looking current.
I look forward to the next kitchen with Nina and the DK gang !
