Great service…people are very nice and helpful. I needed a Dyson stick vacuum fixed and my sewing machine tension adjusted. They did both and didn’t charge me for the tension adjustment!

Took my sewing machine in as it was giving me some issues bunching in the back stitch. Figured it must need serviced as it has been a while. Since they currently had a lot of machines waiting for service, they took my machine out and plugged it in to see if it was a simple fix. Found out that, while the tension is a bit off, the bobbin was upside down which was causing the issue! Explained why sometimes it would bunch and other times it was fine! Super thankful they took the time to do triage on my machine so I could continue to work on projects while I wait for my service appointment! This is the kind of customer service you don’t see too often.

I bought a used serger from a competitor that broke a needle shaft the third time I used it. The company I bought it from said it couldn't be fixed and offered to give me just over half of what I paid for it as a credit against a brand new machine. Instead, I took my machine to Discount Vac and Sew. Got my machine back in perfect working order with a new needle shaft installed. Also managed it in record time. I could not be more satisfied. I'm switching my business for *all* of my machines to the excellent care of DV&S. Fast, friendly, personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonable pricing. I couldn't ask for anything more . . . except possibly a wide selection of threads, accessories, quilting fabrics and supplies, sewing machines, sergers, quilting machines . . . but they've got all of that too, and more besides! If you're passionate about sewing or quilting, you owe it to yourself to go browse. Give yourself plenty if time!
