My daughter and I stumbled upon Caitlin’s Disco Swell while shopping downtown Telluride and we were so glad we did! Being from Texas, we have lots of opportunity to have custom hats but Caitlin & her shop felt very special, a very cool vibe!! I’m a hat girl and have tons of variety but it was time for my daughter to start her collection.
She fell in love with a hat she tried on and Caitlin made the custom creation feel unique & special, even making a rush order and delivering to our hotel! She took extra care on all her measurements, showed her all the branding, thread and personalization options. She even taught her how to care for her hat too.

Disco Swell will be a staple on all our future hat choices!! Caitlin is a GEM!!

Caitlin did my custom hat! I got it in the color dirty martini, and it looks amazingggggggg! I was able to customize it exactly the way I wanted it and she sized it to fit my head perfectly! It was the most amazing experience and was very fair and affordable pricing. I would 10/10 recommend, she also does other branding and my boyfriend branded his wallet and it is amazing! I’m so happy with my hat and can not wait to never take it off! Also her vibe and the vibe of the store was immaculate loved it!!!!;)

Love the details on this hat! The vintage leather band, custom stitching, custom liner and my initials on the leather headband are all done incredibly well. Also the custom fit/shaping is clutch. I’ve worn it a few times on a couple adventures and it’s been durable to everything I’ve put it through and it stays on really well w/ some help from the leather chin strap when conditions turn up. I’ve had this hat for about 4 months now and Im stoked on it! Excited to see this hat ages I wear it more

Had such a fun experience customizing a truly one of a kind hat with Caitlin! She was so friendly and helpful with choosing the perfect colors and materials! I found it especially fun learning about the sources of some of the band materials she recycles and getting to watch as she makes the hats come to life! I love my hat! There are so many great options to choose from such as cowboy hats and other wide brim fedora styles. By far the cutest Telluride hat shop. The experience was so personal and seamless from start to finish. I am so happy that my hat is so customized to me and my personal style. Working with Caitlin and Disco Swell was an amazing experience! From the moment she showed me all of the styles of hats and colors available to me I was on cloud nine. The fitting was excellent and she tripled checked that the hat was the size I needed for where I wanted it to sit on my head. When I received my custom hat I was blown away with the quality and production of it. It has become a staple in my wardrobe and I can’t wait to hopefully get a river hat for next summer!!!
