Found Dark River selling at the National Stock Show and Rodeo Denver. First off, the art is incredible and gorgeous. Went to a Christmas craft fair with my girlfriend and wasn’t planning on buying anything but walked past Chris’s booth once and I was hooked and had to bring a piece home with me! His art is extremely dimensional and the way the light hits it will have you staring at it at different angles, Chris does a wonderful job explaining his process and how he creates the colors and patterns for each piece. I played with some Christmas lighting behind it before hanging it up on my wall and it gave me some ideas for doing some sort of backlighting to make the piece pop in the evenings.

Love how we hung this in our window on hinges, so you can see it from the inside first picture and outside with the light shining through second picture. It was so good to see you at the apple blossom festival this year after one year. It’s still looking fantastic love your work! it’s always a reminder of seeing our turtles in Hawaii !
