My wife and I moved to the Stamford area recently from the Midwest and we decided to start exploring the local Seafood offerings. We stopped by here in search of Oysters, and found great selection and a staff who explained how to open and prepare for newbies. Plus we bought one of their homemade Apple Pies (that are made in the store) that was absolutely delicious. Check them out if you get a chance. Great local vibe.

I’ve driven by this place numerous times and was curious to know what kind of food they offered. It’s like a small town kind of vibe. Wasn’t really sure if they wanted me in there being that I’m Black and the climate of America is weird right now. It was like a “well she has money so we won’t turn her away” kind of thing. I ordered clam strips. They were decent enough but I don’t know if I’ll go back being as though the hospitality wasn’t very warm and welcoming. It was more of a “how did YOU find this place”. Hopefully I’m wrong & it was all in my head.

Roger and his family run a tight ship and have really amazing seafood! My favorite is the Chinook Salmon. Stop in for a lobster roll and friendly smile 🙂
