This is what D&D considers an acceptable weld in stainless for sanitary applications. Not shown: significant heat tint that I had to remove myself, despite specs calling for no tint. There were also significant iron particles present in the material that needed to be removed. The owner then called after I left and requested more money, saying he didnt count it right when I originally paid.

I will likely need to scrap these vessels at a cost of $700 due to poor welding practices, these will be impossible to properly clean and will likely rust soon due to the depletion of chromium in the metal.

If you are looking for stainless welding, look elsewhere - it doesn't appear that this shop knows how to properly weld stainless steel.

I needed a quick little job done. That requires very skilled workers. And I was willing to pay top dollar. Sent in a sketch and detailed information. Twice! And haven't even received an email back. In over 6months. So IDK. They maybe out of business. Or care nothing to respond to emails.
