I had the absolute worst experience with Cyprus. I called Cyprus to first review my HVAC as it wasn't working properly. The technician was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary, but where the nightmare began was when they recommended me an HVAC technician. Long story short all the HVAC technicians provided me the wrong location of my HVAC causing mass confusion, and ultimately misguiding the technicians that did complete my job. Then all they did was provide me with more problems for my already horrible problem of a broken HVAC. Example they said I would need to rent a crane for an HVAC that wasn't more then 4 feet of the ground. They said I would need to get the crane. How does one find a crane? Again one of a thousand problems. I could go one, but I wouldn't recommend this service.

I felt like I was being taken advantage of and paid $139 for the technician to just make notes, take photos, and threaten to charge me an additional $110 if he was there longer than 30 minutes. It was a sales call and not anything else.

He estimated $800 to clean my compressor coils and said he couldn't do anything for my drain line because it was a condo.

He recommended $1200 to kill algae which I don't believe I have - and even if I did - this unit is on my balcony so the cold weather will take care of it soon.

He was unable to figure out how to check the pressures because he had no idea how to hook up the valves.

He did point out that my filter was dirty. No shock to me - as I told the person I made the appointment with - as well as this technician when he arrived - that I just had some drywall repairs done and I was waiting until the service call to put a new filter in.

I lived in Florida as an adult for 50 years and have had countless service calls on my HVAC units.

I went to Home Depot when he left and bought a drain line cleaner and a can of no rinse coil cleaner for a total under $20 which seems to have covered the estimated $800 service.

Nothing but a refund of the $139 I wasted meeting with your technician will make me happy.

Was billed several times without actually being serviced. Company claimed to call me several times to schedule service when I told them to reach out via email. They also had the wrong phone number on file so how could they have called me many times. HQ refused to discount or remove services visits that were never performed. Office employees need be removed and gutted instead of forcing invoices. Already sent a BBB complain, avoid this company.

INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING! The installation process failed inspection 5 times with the county. The techs who did the installation did not even assemble things as they were shown in the instruction sheet they gave me. I called today (after 7 months) to see if we ever passed inspection with the county. Technically, we did. But only now, after 7 months, have they submitted the final paperwork to the county. And only because I called to check on it. When I purchased the system, they talked me into a “discount” if I signed up for a service contract. It was not really a discount. They took $960 off the price I paid up front and spread that $960 out over 12 months, calling it a “Premier Service” contract. I have now learned that it means I get one tech visit.

I am selling my house. I originally called to talk to them about ending their “Premier Service” contract that automatically withdraws $80 from my bank account each month and only stops after 12 months IF I call to cancel it then. The first service support person I spoke to yelled over me and wouldn’t stop as she angrily told me there was a signed contract. I tried calling again to ask what the contract covered. They hung up on my call after I waited on the line for 5 minutes. I called again. When I finally got through and requested a copy of the contract, she didn’t email me it to me and also did not have someone else call me to explain it to me, as she had said she would do. I had to call another time. And on that call, I was emailed a quick phone pic of the papers that were pinned to the office wall. Every person I spoke with had no interest in helping. They clearly did not want to talk to me and thought I had no right to ask questions. The service people have no understanding for how difficult it is to be their customer.

The fireplaces work great. The service was insulting.

They offered an enhanced warranty (17 years on AC compressor), which was one of the selling points when I chose them to install my units some years ago.

Now that the unit has failed (within the warranted period), they won't honor the warranty and state that they "can't work on anything that is over 10 years old" because parts of the system are too old and may be incompatible with new parts. So basically this is a fake warranty.

Also learned recently about the shoddy job they did on the original installation. Rather than properly fit the duct work to the top of the furnace, they used a lot of foil tape to cover a big separation/gap. Over the years, this tape became brittle (in the attic) and blew out, so I've been unwittingly heating and cooling my attic for several years now.

They also misdiagnosed a problem with the ignitor on the gas furnace, and failed to recognize that the circuit board was part of the problem (ignitor doesn't turn off after ignition). Had they done a correct diagnosis, the replacement of the circuit board would have been covered under warranty, but instead now it is past warranty and will cost me $$$ out of pocket to replace.

I couldn't recommend this company for service or installation.

Cypress air cleaned my Fire Place and replaced the glass fire place enclosure with the one in the picture. The glass screen was supposed to be new but it only lasted a month before it fell apart. I have called Cypress air numerous times in effort to resolve this issue..They said someone would contact me but no one ever calls. It’s getting Dangerous, My Pilot light in my fire place just went out.

Stay away from these people. Not sure how they are still in business. I ordered the installation of a gas fireplace. I was told a schedule that they did not keep. The installer failed to come the first day. On a different day, another installer came and told me he would have to run the gas line in front of my house and under the sidewalk and I would have to find someone to dig under the sidewalk. This was after I was told that they could connect to the gas line that feeds the furnace. Another installer came and wanted to tear up my finished basement and then drill a hole in the wall in my den. By this time, I had enough. I did receive most of my money back, however they “stole” $300 for a fireplace cleaning. I didn’t need the cleaning since they are unable to install the gas fireplace. Terrible company, terrible customer service. Do you self a favor and find another company.

Based on your response, I have some additional feedback. If you want to improve your customer service, hire and train competent people. In addition, refund the money you took from me for a fireplace cleaning that I didn’t need.

First off I dont appreciate getting flipped off by your rude tech
When Im in my residence driving to get out of the neighborhood, your tech is on the side, talking to a buddy in their vehicles, who are blocking the lane in order for me, or anyone behind me to get out of my own neighborhood
And he has the audacity to flip me off
