I've only been here twice. Once was for the harvest festival. They did an amazing job putting this on. We have really enjoyed everything about this winery Just join their wine club think that that is amazing. They're very family friendly, dog friendly We really enjoy spending time here unwinding and kicking back.

Camped overnight at the Harvest Host spot in coordination with a big benefit concert for Hurricane Helene Relief. Great Wi-Fi allowed me to telework easily. View of the vines was good for my soul! Of course, the wines and staff at Cunningham Creek were wonderful.

We love Cunningham Creek! SO child and dog friendly - our kids ran around and had the best time, and the precious dogs on site were amazing with the kids. If you have kids and/or dogs, this is the place to go! The owner was also so nice! Top it off with amazing wine, and honestly it was a 10/10 afternoon! We will definitely be back! *pictured is the owners dog- so great with the kiddos

Wow! I think we found the most dog-friendly winery in the region. The 3 resident dogs greet and welcome everyone to the winery. They are very well-behaved and non-confrontational. Our dogs had no problem with them stopping by every so often for a sniff. The vibe at this beautiful winery is laid-back, dog and family-friendly, and chill/peaceful. Nothing pretentious about it. We loved having our own covered picnic area with access to the awesome dog park and a front row seat to the live music. The flights were a great way to taste all the wines. We chose two delicious bottles to sip on. Oh, the food truck was a great day to end the day with a quick, inexpensive dinner too. It was such a great day and we can’t wait to go back.

First winery. The reds were good. Lots of cherry flavors coming through. Menage à Paw had a spice cherry flavor. Herd Dog Rescue was OK. Meritage had a smokiness in it. The petit verdot was rich but not as powerful as expected. Then I finished with the port style which was tasty but a bit too sweet. This winery has a comfortable feel to it. It includes a little store where you can buy cheeses and snacks. And the winery dogs came by for a visit 🙂

Recently went for the first time to celebrate our 33rd anniversary - beautiful place! Walked in - Christmas quilts, crackling fireplace, live music, dogs, and terrific wines! Immediate fan, highly recommend!

Visiting from out of state and could not have had a more enjoyable visit. The outdoor area had beautiful views of the orchard, creating idyllic seclusion while still being close to town. My kids ran around playing with other kids while we enjoyed amazing wine and listened to great music. The owners and staff were so friendly and we are beyond grateful for this new vacation memory. My only regret is that we don't live closer. If you are going to be in the area it is well worth any detour, and if you're local you should be there right now.

CCW has been consistently one of my favorite wineries in VA. Since I first visited (back when they first opened in 2016) the wine has been superb. Bruce and Debby, are the most gracious and knowledgeable owners, they are eager to share their story and how they make their wine. If you enjoy French varietals, then you have found Nirvana.

The inside is cozy, spacious and have individual tables to relax, enjoy some wine and provide varieties of cheeses and meats to make your own charcuterie. The fireplace is the best, with nice leather seating to cozy up with your favorite wine. I really like the “mini-tasting bars” which can accommodate 2- 4 comfortably, to create a more interactive atmosphere.

During these crazier times, the team has made every effort to keep our health and safety in mind. They have a great method to keep track of which tables have been occupied, so they may disinfect the table before the next group arrives. The tables are nicely “peppered” around the beautiful property. Currently (as of 12/20) only outside seating is available, and some tables do have the heat lanterns. They even have a dog park!

I could go on and on about this beautiful place, their wine and their staff, but I HIGHLY recommend you visit and experience this place yourself! You will not be disappointed.
