For many years, Cox internet was the best around our area. Then, about two years ago, it went straight to the toilet. So many outages!! So many problems. In the past year, it’s been even worse. We have either weak internet or no internet EVERY DAY. Yes, EVERY DAY, we have to mess with the system, shutting the system down or unplugging it and plugging it back in. The Cox apps will claim we’re getting 119% of our service speed, yet an independent speed test will show us we’re at zero. I’ve had lengthy, frustrated ā€œchatsā€ with a ā€œlive representative,ā€ and none have been helpful and everyone is rude as hell. I’m done. I hate to do it but I have to dump Cox for Frontier, and I hope it’s better. It’s ridiculous how in 2025, I have the connectivity problems I had in 1999. TERRIBLE!

Came in to the Enfield store this morning to discuss options for lowering my $260 monthly bill. Angel S Was the employee I got stuck with, extremely rude and no help at all. He told me if I want to lower my bill get rid of my cableI, told him that obviously that was not the answer I was looking for.Cox needs to get better people representing them as there are now other options available, not like before when they were the only ones around. Bad experience, terrible employee representation. Needs to be trained on customer Service. I spend $3000 a year on TV and Internet Should be able to get better customer service

Been paying for 500mb download for months and months. Never had more than 120mb download speed. 8 days a month on average with 1mb download! Nuts. They’ve had techs out, new modems, new router, new line from the street to the house. And what? Nothing fixed? Crazyyyyyy. Only getting 20% of what we pay for, sounds like an 80% refund! Been tracking the speeds 24/7 for 3 months and finding out how much of what I’m paying for is actually being received. Go with frontier and heck even starlink would be better. Seen faster internet in a town of 200 people in the desert than what cox provides in freakin CONNECTICUT

Cox store @54 hazard Ave, Enfield. I recently returned some cable equipment , the young man that helped me was really good! He got me in and out in 2 minutes!. This is after being on the phone with internet service for 50 minutes!. Now that is way to long!. To cancel my cable service . That sucked!.

This review is toward Cox costumer service more than the store itself. I have been more than 9 days without service. More, because I am still with no service now. I have had 2 service calls scheduled so far, and still no service. Do to the town construction tearing up the road, a construction vehicle ripped the cable line from my house on a Friday. Cox said they would put me in as an emergency call, they will show up on Thursday. The construction company said they would call Cox to see if they could do better. They got Cox to come out on Tuesday. Guess it pays to be a company and not an individual customer. When I came home from work on Tuesday, nothing was done. The wires hanging from the pole were still hanging. I called Cox and ask what happened. They said the tech showed up and notice he would need to use a ladder. So I said ā€œandā€ He said I would have to be put on hold so he could find out. Cox came back and said the tech couldn’t use a ladder on my property without some ā€œwatchingā€ him. I had asked when I made the appointment if I had to be home since all the damage was on the outside of the house. They said no. They were wrong. The next appointment available is on Sunday. I didn’t even know they made appointments for the weekend. Hopefully I get my service back Sunday. I really hate paying for a service I don’t have.

I went to the store to cancel my account and the person that handled it " older gray hair beard" was rude and act that I was inconveniencing him. Then my wife went to the store to pay the last bill a couple of day later and she mentioned about a person that was very rude and she saided the same thing. she described the same person
