Do you like paying astronomical rates for living alone? Even having your appliances unplugged to lower your bill but it's still 225 every other month? Then this trash company is for you. Walk in the front door they even spit in your face for a charge. Monopoly at all?

The customer service here is actual trash they don’t have any empathy specifically Kelly. There’s some random $40 fee after I already made the payment two days ago that is sketchy they go to work and hate every interaction with a real person. Anyone who has to deal with these people God help you because they don’t give an absolute crap

PUD staff members are absolutely amazing and helpful. The automated payment system is absolutely the worst I have ever used. It routinely takes you to the wrong prompt when you hit a numbered prompt. It also requires a PIN number to proceed which only works 1/10 times. I will enter the same number over and over again until it eventually accepts it which can take up to 3 phone calls. I hope a better system can be adopted In The near future or a the bugs can be worked out

Hello, I'm so thankful for the wonderful customer service team. They went over and beyond to help me. Kind, caring, and supportive. It was 1000% non-judgmental, they were able to make me feel so safe. The customer service agents, have always been so kind & helpful, through the many years, I've been a customer. I can only speak for myself. I am not here to engage or disregard anyone's feelings. I am here to say Thank you !!!

Saw some of the bad reviews here so thought that I should post a good one. Just spoke with Amy to set up new service and she demonstrated excellent friendly customer service with a smile. The customer service reps are not in charge of the things that people are posting bad reviews about so please don't take it out on them 🙂

We are a property management company who pride ourselves on going the extra mile and being proactive with our communication. We have paid the electric invoices for an owner of 40 multi-family units for almost 2 years. Unbeknownst to us we had the power shut off in a 5 plex yesterday (01/04/2018) We researched the vendor ledger and show payment of $61.03 processed and mailed on 12/27/2017 so we are confused as to why the power was shut off and why we received no notice of the shut off to be performed. Not even a courtesy call? We contact Cowlitz PUD and are told we missed a $30.00 invoice (we never received by mail) and the total due for the invoice received on Friday 12/22/2017 was $61.03....we inform Cowlitz PUD that we in fact have paid them and emailed them the COPY of the check mailed on 12/27/2017 for $61.03

Keeping in mind, we received a bill for $61.03 on Friday 12/22/2017 and wrote the check 3 business days later on Wednesday 12/27/2017 and put it in the mail.

January 4th....the power was shut off over $61.03 and the person who took our call was RUDE and didn't CARE nor believe us when we sincerely said...Listen we never got notification or we would have gladly responded.

Their attitude was so unprofessional that I hope I never work with them again. In my business, our team culture is caring and we believe in treating others with respect. I have residents who don't pay rent and guess what.....I don't slap them with legal documents without first COMMUNICATING! and guess what, it works wonders!

After this experience with Cowlitz PUD, it sure seems that they are greedy and just care about revenue because that $61.03 turned into over $100.00 after reconnection fees.

Every time we've had an issue, it's been resolved promptly. And for those complaining about prices, it's about 4 cents per kw/h -- and since we moved from a place that was literally ten times that amount, we're always pleasantly surprised by our bills. AND we generate our own hydro power in this county, which is awesome, too!
