The first couple times we visited Coupeville, we always arrive too late, or were too busy with other events to check out the wharf. We still were able to walk the dock at sunset, taking in the serenity of the view and the placid water below us, but we were always curious about what we would find inside, should we ever make it in time. When we did, we were charmed with the assortment of gift shops, the café, museums and galleries, but more than anything, its the ambiance of the building, the dock, and the majesty of Penn Cove that are the real draws here.

Beautiful location with a coffee shop, gift shop, and whale watching company. They are under construction but still open for business.

The wharf has such great views of the marina. There were so many great things to be seen along the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and museums. I grew up in the mountains but feel quite at home along the shores and on the water.

What a cool Main St ending up at the wharf. Get yourself here for the day and enjoy some live local music as you walk hand in hand with your partner, while enjoying that delicious ice cream. Some lunch after some shopping, followed by a cold one! Damn good day here! Thoroughly enjoyed myself, and my walk.

Cute little village like town with a gorgeous view, shops and restaurants were cute and all were friendly. My Mom's favorite thing to do as a kid was to sit by the Pierre and stick her feet in water while her Mom worked the books. I am glad we can carry on the tradition 😀

No shore power. A boat let their dog out on the dock loose & he was howling away first thing in the morning without anyone keeping him quiet for the other boaters

First come first served dock. A few boats had to anchor because the dock filled up. A bit of a walk to get to land

Careful parking on the south side of the dock closest to the wharf as low tide might have you stuck waiting

Quaint lively town with plenty of wildlife right off the pier. A family of deer was in the meadow in the evening

The wharf has a cafe that opens at 8a with hot breakfast sandwiches

For 120 years this wharf has been a bastion of hope to the Coupevillians that resides here. She has protected us from various vikings, the gangs of Genghis Khan, a plethora of pirates, and Oxford Commas.
Enjoy her splendor. Ring the whale bell. Rent a kayak. Enjoy the view and the safe Harbor she provides.
No longer offers public showers.

This was a beautiful area that had a very long boardwalk from one end of the town to the other....restaurants up and down the walk....gift shops, a few museums and galleries....I could have spent much more time here.....you can pull your boat up at the different docks to visit the restaurants also
