These people are the real deal. They are a small American business with an incredible product to offer. I can't speak to the quality of the mill they produce, mine hasn't arrived yet, however I have absolutely no reason to doubt that it is the highest quality american-made manual grain Mill available today.

The customer service I've experienced is outstanding, any questions I had about my order, or payment Processing, were promptly answered. Even a mistake I had made on my order was able to be fixed without complaint, even though it was several days into processing, and was sure to be a hassle for them to address.

This is what you can expect. When you purchase a grain Mill from country living you will get more in value than the dollars you pay.

This is a business you can trust, and with the mill having been around for 35 plus years, and with the second generation of the original inventor taking on the business, the mill that they produce may not only outlive you, but your children as well.

Also, Country living not only produces their own mill, but they also sell replacements for the wearing parts on their same website. Things like grinding plates, bearings, . You can even purchase a motorized kit, and grind stress free.

Let me be clear, there are "cheaper" Mills on the market, however, what you save in cash, you may well end up paying for later with time and maintenance costs.
Lesser quality Mills may require several more (3-4+) runs to process a flour to a desired fineness, and they may have other serious handicaps in processing larger and harder grains like corn or beans. Nevermind nuts.
The lack of replacement parts for cheaper Mills may cause frustration and incur significant cost for repairs or total replacement. I've been there. It's not a fun place to be.
I do not believe that in the long run the cheaper mills will be more economic.

In my research, there may only be one other mil that slightly outperforms the country living grain Mill, however, it is produced in Germany at twice the cost, so you're paying significantly more for negligible positive differences, and that's not including importation fees, and shipping charges which would be significant.

So yes, there are better options, for more than twice the cost, with less features.
Yes, there are cheaper options which will cost you more in time and even more money, also with less features.

And on top of it all, neither will have the same degree and speed of support that you'll get from country living.

Don't sucker yourself. This is the best manual grain mill company in the United States, and they produce the best-for-your-money-value grain mill in the world.
