I have a very large and very old mulberry tree that was in need of serious pruning, and while I was having someone come I figured I would have a poplar tree removed from near our garage. I called around to get quotes and had conversations with 4 different tree services in the area.
Of the four quotes, CT Landscape & Tree was next to the lowest, the difference was the person. Greg is professional and friendly, and talking to him about trees was extremely informative!
When the day came to do the work they showed up on time, the equipment was very well cared for and impressive (spider bucket lift is super cool) and cleaned up everything when they were done.
I'm extremely happy with the results and will most definitely have them back in a few years to help maintain the health of my mulberry tree.

Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job cutting down some dead 100+ foot oak trees from my back yard. They were very thorough and you could not tell they had been in the yard even with the wet ground. I highly recommend their services.

Greg and Kari along with the crew were professionals from start to finish. I originally called Connecticut Landscape and Tree due to a concern about a beautiful, at least 100 year old sugar maple. Greg’s an arborist (doesn’t just cut them down) and told me why I should spare it. That was a huge relief. He did point out 3 ash trees that had been devastated by the emerald ash borer that needed to come down. I received an estimate from Kari (who runs the office) exactly when Greg told me I would. I agreed and the work proceeded in a timely manner. The guys were quick and left the yard like they were never there. I’ve dealt with a few different tree companies through the 39 years I’ve lived in my home. Connecticut Landscape and Tree is by far the best. I highly recommend them.

I would recommend Connecticut Landscape & Tree to ANYONE. Greg and his team were outstanding in every way, professional, courtesy, respectful of the property and did exactly what they said they would and beyond. I had a huge tree (stump 5 feet in diameter) that died and had to be removed from a very tight space. There was lots of setting up and repositioning, tying off, dropping branch by branch, cutting entire tree to fire wood lengths and clean up. They worked all day even requiring extra hours yet stayed until the job was completed and never cut corners to finish. Their professionalism never wavered. Outstanding Job! And that is an understatement!

I contacted Connecticut Lanscaping to provide an estimate for tree removal. The owner of the company met me, provided an in-depth proposal of work specifications in a timely fashion. We went ahead and I must say, I am a safety stickler and was pleasantly surprised in the work zone layout, PPE being worn including chaps, ear protection, hand, foot, face protection and state of the art equipment.
