I have purchased 2 bikes from Commencal USA with in the last 6 months Meta HT AM Essential and a Meta TR V4 and I think they are great bikes for the price. However I feel their return policy on their bikes could be more customer friendly. There are other ship to consumer brands that offer 30 day return policy with out much monetary consequence. Other than that I love my Commencal Bikes and would buy another.

The staff at Commencal Golden are super friendly and genuinely care about their product. My new Supreme 29 is absolutely amazing! It's only been a month, but quite possibly the best bike I've owned. She fast, gets a ton of compliments, yet remains quiet on the trail as to not bring additional attention to herself. There was, however, an issue with the shock within that first month. Even though Commencal was quick to help remedy the situation, SRAM does not deal with the consumer directly, resulting in slightly longer handling times with Warranty claims. SRAM also doesn't offer direct replacement parts. Instead, the shock needed to be returned to their facility in Indiana. This may seem frivolous to some, but for me it is a disappointment and the only thing preventing me from leaving a 5 Star Review. I'll also say that the E13 wheels are a bit fragile. CushCore is a must! Threw the RockShox shock in the trash and upgraded to an EXT coil. Dreamy!

I will say that everyone I've dealt with at Commencal USA has been friendly and helpful as they're "allowed" to be from Commencal EU (parent HQ), but at this point I can't do it any more because the brand does a sub-par job of standing by their products.

Do NOT buy an e-bike from them. Commencal designs awesome bikes, but they don't do enough to support their customers. Apparently these decisions are made in the EU HQ, but as a north american customer I have to recommend anyone who really wants to ride their bike hard to avoid Shimano bikes and commencal in general. I've broken 2 shimano motors and cracked 1 frame. 1st bike was replaced due to broken motor within 6 weeks from new (in an indirect manor), second frame cracked and took over a year to finally get replaced even though they started the warranty process right away - apparently the replacement frame was stateside for more than 2 months and the guys in CO didn't know. Broke the second motor after 2 years and Shimano won't honor warranty for motors with 3rd party cranks, and Commencal won't stand by their customers based on their OEM spec decisions where as other brands will.

It should also be noted that I bought my first Commencal back in 2006 and went through at least 3 warranty frames in 3 years 2006-2009 because they all seem to break. That was a different era with a 3rd party distributor, but Commencal hasn't changed. They're bikes like to break, and they'll look for any reason not to support the warranty.

Great staff that is there to help you with practically any bike question you may have. Bought an A La Carte build from them and can attest that these guys make some of the best bikes I’ve ever seen.

I do not do reviews on any bike companies, but this one needed to be done. Commencal makes exceptional bikes, but this is not what this review is about. It is about how exceptional their customer services is. In this day in age customer service is poor and very few companies focus on this part of the business. I ordered a Ramones 20" for my sons 6th birthday. I called on a Monday to ask about the status of the order (son's birthday on Thursday). At first they could not find the order. Once Commencal found the order, they apologized for the inconvenience and ask me what size my son was, so they could add some swag to the order for free. This was great but, that was not all. The bike was being shipped from their CA hub to WV. Commencal then took it on themselves to have the bike delivered on my sons birthday. Thank you Ruan and the Commencal Clan. My son will be smiling ear to ear today.

Commecal is a great brand with great support. Every time I have purchased from them whether its a new bike or gear they have been great!
Keep up the good work.
By the way the Clash Signature is the best bike I have owned it thirty years of riding.

Purchased a second hand bike from one of commencals partners and everything went wrong, but Ruan, Conner, and the entire team worked with me through the entire process to find one resolution after another.

In the end I'm satisfied. These bikes are amazing and commencal usa showed a high level of support and patience.

On a high note... they probably have the best shipping/packing crew in the industry. Everything is extremely well packed, and shipped super fast.

When a company shows up like this for challenging situations that are no fault of thier own it means more than anything. #commencalforlife.

Commencal came through for me helping with a SRAM warranty issue. They were so easy and helpful to work with, and provided the very best customer service. I can’t express enough appreciation for everyone’s support. Beyond that, I could not be happier with my FRS frame. Zero complaints. Highly recommend Commencal and the team there in Golden. Thank you!
