This is by far one of the harder reviews I have made. It was really important to me to do my due diligence and find the right church. In truth I was quite desperate for help. I thought when I went in there all the markers seemed decent. I did find it unorganized as you entered as a new person. I didn't ask the greeters yet I stumbled into the new area to ask some questions. I have many unseen injuries and I am disabled. I have to do what's in my wheelhouse to be in an overwhelming experience and find it bright and loud. I asked for things and yet they didn't have anything that I needed for my disability. I didn't plan for that. Sadly, I don't feel that they are strong for people with disabilities so far. I found them to be unnecessarily challenging at the beginning. During my frustration, the person who was doing anything to help me, noticed I was very frustrated. I was submerged and disappointment since I watched the pastor a couple from online services before choosing to go and knew I liked the messages. As I was sitting and pouting about my bad decision, She found me and I thought that spoke volumes. Kudos to that person for recognizing a person in need. Because of that I did choose to fill out a card with all my information and I looked to find her. I handed it to another volunteer in that department for new people, at the end of service. That was over 2 weeks ago, I have not heard back from them whether be a phone call, text or email.

I'm actually a bit heartbroken. It's very sad when you have somebody that is disabled and new to the area seeking the right place for themselves. As a Christian woman, I try to do the best by not judging others. Being disabled is important and I thought I would just share my point of view. I'm sure this is a good church on many levels and we all make mistakes. I'm not looking for perfection but they are supposed to at least keep that part organized with these new cards and new people that come in to Cloverhill Church. I've been in ministry and proudly had worked quite a bit at my Florida church and have very strong ties to my Massachusetts church. I've been living in Virginia for a couple of years and it's like impossible to find a good church. I needed a place very much so.

Because of this, I have changed my course of action and decided maybe I just don't belong here in Virginia. I've sought really hard to find the churches that I have been accustomed to with my personal positive experiences. This is not how we treat people that seek churches for their reasons a fellowship and good pastoring. Until I move on I may go back. I'll just stick to my myself and not open my heart and soul to this church. I would prefer to hear the pastor preach and lead the church. But my goal of fellowship, ministry and study would never be accomplished here based on my experiences.

I pray that anybody who is reading this, who may work for Cloverhill Church will pass this along to the correct people. I do hope that they become more organized from their signs outside, to handling various disabilities and to follow through with the cards they received from us new people.

If you have found this review helpful please do give me a 👍 thumbs up. Please feel free to follow me for local and travel reviews. I'm proud to be a very high ranking reviewer with Google and I take this position pretty serious. Thank you for reading!

It was our first time there. Felt the paster did more than just read from the Bible. He applied it to our everyday lives. Definitely felt some conviction there. We will be going back. We are looking for a church home.

Started going in 06’, I’m 27 now, was the first place I felt touched by the Holy Spirit! Pastor Stan’s sermons are very transparent to the word of the Bible and he does a very tremendous job with providing context. I don’t live in the area anymore but when I visit.. I attend clover hill ! God bless the Congregation of Clover Hill Assembly of God!

I attended the Celebrate Recovery group there on Friday nights. Everyone is so welcoming & kind. The service is small, has contemporary music. Runs an hour from 7-8pm. Then they break-up into men & women's groups for discussion from 8-9pm. Everyone is so supportive. Then from 9-9:45pm they have food & fellowship. I only wish I lived closer, so I could go every Friday!

Pastor Stan will not appeal to the trendy majority with their trendy views of what is right because he is clearly not a societal conformist.

As an observer of the teachings of Pastor Stan, his sermons are powerfully enriching and fuels the souls of many, myself included.

Through Pastor Stan’s teachings, we are nourished with the bread of life— the word of God, and why so many flock to this church. Without question, the people hunger for the guidance and teachings of our Heavenly Father, and Pastor Stan surely delivers with scripture-based sermons that guide and teach the people.

If you are offended by the words Pastor Stan speaks, as well as the sourced scripture that his message is platformed on, your issue is not with him, it’s with Him👆 Seek out the scripture, thereby seeking wisdom and Biblical truth.

📌The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
I Corinthians 2:14 ✝️

📌I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12.1-2 ✝️

Love me some Cloverhill! Have called it my church home for over 6 years now, and have loved every minute of it. They have built a truly awesome atmosphere here, and the pastors are all really awesome. The worship is phenomenal and there are plenty of places to serve on teams and many small groups options to join. Their vision is something I strongly agree with and I love it here.

I went to watch my nephew be dedicated. Afterwards the sermon preached against the transgender community. I do not recommend. It is not a safe space. Just another church perpetrating old ways of thinking and not adjusting to the world and accepting it as God wants. Compassion and respect for all.

This church is incredible! Cloverhill has been our church home for about 2 years now, and it truly has made a difference in our lives. We had been church hunting for what felt like forever, and as soon as we walked through the doors, I could immediately feel that “this was it”. You could just feel God’s presence. The church is filled with awesome community and people that you can just continue to grow and do life with. Pastor Stan teaches the word straight from the Bible in a way that is so engaging and makes you want to continue chasing after God once you leave the church. I couldn’t be more grateful for Cloverhill and the impact it has made on my life!
