I tried dealing with Cara & her husband Steven last year when I was in desperate need to move. I was very patient with Cara but there was a lot of back and forth between myself, her and the landlord of the apartment I was interested in renting. After almost 3 weeks of the back and forth and trying to get in touch with Cara on multiple occasions, Cara finally called me on move in day to tell me the landlord decided not to move forward with me as a tenant. After requesting a cashiers check which is additional fee from my bank, taking trips to meet Cara with the check for the 1st months rent, several phone calls which went ignored by Cara, I was finally let down “softly.” I was of course a bit flustered because I had wasted so much time with Cara. She had me under the impression the landlord would move forward with renting to me. Especially after receiving the cashiers check for the 1st months rent. This would be devastating to anyone and their family. I unfortunately had to meet Cara again at a restaurant to collect the cashiers check. I didn’t have much to say. It was the dead middle of winter and Cara & Steven let me down.
Took me a while but I was able to find a real estate agent that truly cared about my well being. Not just the commission they receive for helping me find an apartment. I left him an amazing review and stand by him to this very day. I dealt with him for about 1 week straight and he was able to get me into an amazing townhouse located in Norwalk. Better than any other apartment Cara or Steven ever showed me. Not only that, after he heard about the less than satisfactory service I received from Cara, he decided not to run a credit report at all and went ahead by using the credit report that I already had. The credit report that Cara and Steven said I could use for ANY rental had expired and no other agents or landlords would accept the one the Cara asked me to pay for and promised other agents would accept. GO FIGURE!

Go find yourself a real estate agent that actually cares about YOU and not just a commission check. I don’t care how many positive reviews they try and have folks leave this company, I’m telling you BEWARE!
