We had to make a last-minute reservation change on the night my (now) wife and I eloped in Telluride. So, we chose to try the Chop House Restaurant. This was one of the best decisions we made the entire trip. We weren’t expecting the staff to be so accommodating because we made the reservation less than 24 hours before. Still, to our surprise, the hosts gave us an excellent table by the windows, and they gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate. Our waiter was fantastic, too! He was attentive and made us feel special. Plus, the food was superb. I’m very happy we chose to celebrate our elopement here.

What a wonderful evening. It was cold and rainy outside, but warm and cozy inside. We had a great meal and the service was excellent. I started with the wedge salad, which was very flavorful, with blue cheese crumbles and Nueske's bacon. My wife started with the gazpacho and it was wonderful. Then we each had a filet mignon, and they were cooked to perfection - very tender and flavorful. The spinach and french fries were great. We topped it off by sharing the key-lime pie which rivaled one we had had years ago at Ziggys's in the Florida Keys. Thank you for being a great part of Telluride.

Good times! Food was good and the sights of 'ride are always great! Love making our annual trek for fall colors. If I had any advice, it'd be the rum n coke I ordered was very bland/flat. I think it was syrup without effervescents. But I didn't request a replacement so I'm not sure if it was their quality or the soda was tapped.
Bathrooms are downstairs but there may be an elevator that will bring you down- we took the stairs which are a teensy bit steep for my MIL.

Great meal and service. Was not a fan of the crab cake, but the server removed it from the bill without asking. Great drinks, mussels were amazing, and the steak and fish were fantastic. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Located in the iconic Sheridan hotel, the hotel itself is a big landmark in town. We are a group of 9 were seated in the corner where the wine cabinets are which is semi private. Our server is super friendly and we got couple bottles of wine from the cabinet they are at a decent price.

The side dishes are good for table share, pretty good portion, so you can order one side per two person to share. The truffle fries are crispy cornbread is warm and fluffy. For the main I shared the bison, the size is pretty big, I can’t imagine to finish by myself. I think everyone else is sharing the main unless you are really hungry

The meal is not cheap definitely a splurge for the trip, but really enjoyed the meal.

For the main course, I had the New York Strip, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—crisp on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. My friend ordered the lamb chops, and they were equally impressive, bursting with flavor and accompanied by creative sides that really complemented the dish.

The wine list is extensive, offering a great variety of options to pair with their delectable steaks. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us to the perfect bottle that enhanced our meal even more.

What really sets the New Sheridan Chophouse apart is the exceptional service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our experience was flawless from start to finish. We even got a visit from the chef, which was a lovely personal touch.

Fantastic restaurant, great customer service (like really great) and good food. Right in the center of town, indoor and outdoor seating and what restaurant wouldn't be complete without a bar?! The drip coffee is surprisingly delicious as well as the food. Only experienced brunch, so can't speak for the other meals of the day, but highly recommend if you are in the telluride area.
