Don’t ever go to try their sorry excuse of a brisket sandwich. As a Meat Market that’s been family owned for generations should feel ashamed for serving such a bland and terrible product. The meat is so bland and so lean it tastes like nothing. The BBQ sauce it’s smothered in lacks so much taste it’s embarrassing. Legit taste like watered down A1 sauce. Don’t waste your money here on the sandwiches

Driving thru Elsa, after a Dr's appointment, and hungry, saw brisket place, actually made a u-turn, well, it was worth the turn, the brisket was super delicious and yummy, so tender, the buns soft, onions, pickles 😋 the right amount of barbarque sauce....l am not from the area, but well worth the stop 😋

They have a pretty good selection. And they have a drive thru. So thats pretty convenient. We usually buy the pre-seasoned bags of chicken wings. They have charcoal and most of the things you need to light up the grill. I recommend this place for your bbq supplies.

Best seasoned chicken around. Always get the wings and chicken fajita (thighs) for our family BBQs from here and I'm from Weslaco. Worth the drive in our opinion.

Yeah, I bought 4 pounds of party wings at Charlie's meat market for the 1st time and what do I get? 23 flats, 3 little drums and, when I called to ask about this, a sad tale of whatever-we-pick-up-with-our-hands is what you get. I got the feeling that other customers have complained about this before, but the man I spoke with told me that was their policy and he doesn't know how other meat markets do it. I guess I'll be trying the meat market in Edcouch. Maybe they have a different policy. It does strike me funny that Charlie's wouldn't want every one of their customers satisfied with their service and product. Oh, well 🤷‍♀️I guess I'll continue to shop out of town.
