We just had CWFR install, for free, smoke detectors in our home. I was a fire inspector for insurance companies for over 30 years and my experience with CWFR is that they were extremely courteous, professional, and accurate in their installation-I'm so happy their levy passed. My boat lost power in the eastern straight of Juan de fuca after taking on some water. A storm churned the waves up way beyond the capabilitie of my boat. I was taking on water and nearly capsized on more than one occasion. The coast guard had a helicopter watching me, and offered to pull me out of the boat. I accepted that however was told by coast guard dispatch that they were going to have difficulty negotiating that with the winds. Central Whidbey Island Fire and rescue showed up as of out of nowhere. Justin, Jen, Cole and Blake literally saved my life. Never have I seen such heroism or professionalism. I was 100% convinced I was going in the water and my boat was going to sink. They got me aboard their vessel and towed my boat in. True heros.

We'd like to say thank you to a very impressive SAR last night at the Trillium Preserve. It's so great to know we have such great public service people to help. It's an amazing display of thorough organization and we ALL went home eventually! Thanks!
