I’ve bought a few products here with no problems, and the staff is professional and caring. I had an issue last week with one of my lenses breaking. My dad brought it to the store to see if he could get it fixed. The worker was honest and straightforward. They started they would have to ship the lenses out to get fixed, and it could take close to 6 weeks to get it back. They recommended I go through Canon. I went through Canon, and I got the lens back in a week. I recommend everyone to come to the store because they are honest workers

EDIT: Two weeks later they have made things right by replacing the new camera with no shipping charges or any other related charges to me. Took a bit of back and forth with the warehouse email but things did get straightened out.

Should have read the reviews first. Ordered a camera online and it arrived busted. Called the store and was bluntly told "we do not handle warehouse issues, that is only done through email." No answers to the email. I am sure this will be a long drawn out process to either get a refund or the camera replaced.

I dropped my 60 year + old Nikon camera in December 2022 to be cleaned and tuned up. There is nothing wrong with it. I paid in February 2023 for the actual repair because it took that long to get the quote and now they will not tell me where my family heirloom camera is. STOP CALLING ME TO TELL ME YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE STATUS IS AND YOU WILL CALL ME BACK BECAUSE YOU NEVER HAVE FOLLOWED UP. YOU HAVE STOLEN MY ANTIQUE CAMERA. I WANT TO KNOW NOW WHERE IT IS OR IM GOING TO THE POLICE REPORT IT STOLEN

If it was possible to give zero stars, I would.
This is one of the worst online shopping experiences ever. I placed an online order 6/28/24 after confirming with them that they had the camera I wanted in stock. I received an email confirmation, then nothing.

I contacted their customer support multiple times to follow up about delivery, but received no response. I did receive a voicemail message from their "verification" department, asking me to confirm or cancel my order. I responded with a message (you can't actually get a human) to confirm my order and again asked for delivery information. No response.

Then on 7/2/24, without explanation, I received an email cancelling my order. Thankfully, the charge on my credit card remained "pending" so I anticipate that it will just fall away. If not, you can bet l'll take it up with the CC company.

I'm not sure how these guys manage to stay in business. My advice is to STAY AWAY!

Was skeptical given the reviews, but received my order quickly within two days.
Very satisfied as the Nikon Z6III is backordered in most places. Camera and lens were packaged well. Hope to order the NIKKOR 24-120mm in the future with no sales tax!

My experience with this organization was disappointing, frustrating and unfair. I paid $50 to have a lens repaired. It was sent out for repair and five weeks later I was told that their repair shop had not sourced the needed parts. I canceled the matter and secured the lens. Camera Wholesalers refused to refund the $50 charge for the estimate although I never received any estimate. A similar event took place two years ago with my camera; and after waiting five weeks was told they had yet to get to the camera. I canceled the order, received the camera and was told that they would not return the $50 charge. This organization is not reputable, not accountable, and is totally irresponsible. Stay away!

Called to inquire about used camera equipment for sale and was immediately interrupted when trying to explain what I was seeking. I was then given a lecture and mansplained information about a medium format camera that I've had for years being discontinued (which I already knew, I traveled to Japan to get the body) and talked down to and patronized for even inquiring about buying a lens here to begin with.

Was eager to come back here to purchase 120 mm film since I'm new to the area, but will happily be taking my business elsewhere. Gross, disrespectful and sexist behavior. Photo indicates sales associate responding to my review vs taking accountability and trying to remedy the situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

CLASSIC CONNECTION FINE CAMERA in Fairfield CT have phenomenal, respectful and knowledgeable staff that won't make you feel bad about asking ANY educated question. They were both able to help me purchase what I needed. Film is also better priced at these locations as well.

It's the principle. No one ever wants to feel spoken down to when calling to ask a question about a hobby they love and are passionate about. It's not what you say, but how you say it and replying to a review to defend poor behavior from your establishment isn't a good look. It just enables the behavior to continue to other quality customers. Definitely glad to say I'm not allowed here anymore as the treatment I received is something I don't want to ever experience again. I have found 2 new places in CT that I can regularly frequent for my film photography needs!
