I found the critical areas planner (S. Morris) to be very helpful. Then, it only took them 2 months to issue my building permit. More recently, the plans examiner/building inspector has been fair and willing to work with us when my engineer provided plans that lacked certain detail. To date, virtually all my experiences with them have been reasonable or much better.

Unfortunately for 5 million dollar I would have thought that you would be able to get more than a dog license and a building permit. Yes the people who do the permits for build and dog license people along with the sheriff's office got a new building but other than that, a lot of money for not a ton of things. I would have thought that car license and a park permit would have been two things that you get, but surprise, not. However the folks that work there are helpful in get phone numbers to other agencies.. 🌝 W.C. Wagner Camano Island.
