So glad we found Bradley and Cynthia of BW Welding!! We purchased an old 4 seater Winter Park Pioneer lift ski chair and wanted to turn it into a memorial bench. Bradley did an amazing job making the legs and stabilizing the bench/frame. Cynthia created a beautiful custom plaque that will be attached to the bench to perfectly honor my parents. I recently (April-May 2023) contracted BW Welding to design and fabricate an insulated steel security access door for the utility room/crawl space under my newly built mountain cabin. The door required a custom size to fit an existing framed opening. While I could have ordered a semi-custom door from one of the large on-line access door distributors, I preferred the opportunity to work with a local company that would customize the design for my particular needs. Brad and Cynthia Washburn, of BW Welding, are a husband/wife team that create exceptional products in a modest shop in Tabernash, Colorado. Brad's the craftsman fabricator, with Cynthia handling the commercial terms. They were both a pleasure ... creative, personable and fair.

Though BW Welding's pricing is not inexpensive, I felt like I received the full value and quality for which I paid. Brad even built in features that I hadn't thought of or requested, but needed! And besides, by buying locally and picking-up the door at their shop, I likely didn't pay much more, if any, than had I purchased from a big box distributor, plus shipping costs.

During the fabrication, we even had a minor miscommunication on mounting hole placement (as much my fault as anyone's, since had not provided a dimensioned drawing), but Brad and Cynthia took full responsibility and quickly implemented the necessary minor rework at no additional charge. Very good customer service!

I've attached photos, but don't judge the painting ... that was spray painted by me outside on a windy and relatively cool day.

I highly recommend BW Welding for any of your specialized or custom metal fabrication projects.
