I just bought a used vehicle from my brother which is also a mechanic. I got the vehicle cheap. I live in Bullock County Alabama whereas he lives in Autauga County Alabama. Getting the title transferred into my name was easy but on the bill of sale my brother forgot to put my name and I also didn't realize I had to sign it as well. The very nice lady there after making a copy of the bill of sale asked me to print my name and to sign it. She then proceeded to issue my title transfer. Easy because she made it so much easier. She then proceeded with the registration process and I then showed my Alabama DL and proof of insurance and I picked out my new tag and signed a few things then paid all my fees which were cheap. Like $53 dollars and some change using my debit card then signed another paper two times and I was walking out of there with my new registered vehicle and new tag. The process was so smooth and the lady was so kind and helpful that it made the transaction go alot quicker than expected. They are very nice people at the Bullock County court house. Must wear a mask ? though because it is required. Hope this helps.
