I didn't end up buying a car here, no fault of the dealership. I have been trying to buy a car for a while and have been dealing with a lot of lying and shady sales tactics. I did not have this experience here - they were transparent and straight forward with their pricing once you got to the dealership. Would highly recommend using Matt as your sales guy. He is excellent.

Jose and his affiliates worked diligently to help me get my new car. When they say that they’re trying their hardest to help you, they absolutely mean it. There were no hidden fees or agendas. This is definitely a dealership that is for the people.

We had a great experience at Bruce Bennett Nissan Wilton. Marlon was very helpful and patient with us when looking at different cars and our options. The manager also took time to support with our decision along with the lovely ladies in the finance team. We are very pleased with our new car.

I would absolutely love to give this dealership five stars, HOWEVER my experience wasn’t the greatest.

Customer service was absolutely amazing. Matt was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and answered all questions. During the test drive I was asked if I was ready to purchase the vehicle tonight, which I answered yes. Around 6:30pm, when it was time to make the deal, I was informed the finance department had left. Mind you, the dealership does not close until 7pm.

I asked if I could fill out a credit application or leave a deposit. I was told they were unable to do so without the finance dept , and the dealership does not allow deposits to hold the car.

I am disappointed, I drove 1.5 hours to this dealership from NJ, ready to purchase the vehicle tonight. Customer service was great. In regards to the finance dept, it is a disservice to leave before closing, as well as doing so while a customer/potential buyer is present.

Watch out for this place. They push THOUSANDS in HIDDEN FEES. I drove a 2 hours to come to this dealership because they appeared to have the exact vehicle we wanted at a great price (or appeared to be a great price). Typical bait and switch. Despite the long drive we were excited to go and take a look at the vehicle. The vehicle had some odd scratches and a nice big scuff on the front bumper. The sale person said they personally knew what happened to the front bumper but would not share the info as he "did not want to lose the sale" (as if that wasn't more sketchy than explaining what happened". The second thing was the vehicle only had 13,000 miles on it but the tires we bald.... Red flag number 2. Despite the damage to the vehicle and the bald front tires, my wife and I decided to go ahead with the deal anyway. We were at the dealer for 2 hours or so at this point before we got transferred to the finance department. THIS IS WHERE THEY PULL THEIR TRICKS. Abdul the finance guy was friendly enough. We started looking at the price breakdown to which I noted a few things. One was that there was a $516 vin etching fee that I did not ask for. I asked about it being that it said "optional" next to it. I was told that because the vehicle was an off-brand from what they sell that it was REQUIRED... The next huge red flag was that they messed up the sales tax with me being out of state. They shorted us on the trade in tax credit. Following that they hit me with a form that had the documentation fee... This was the hardest hit as the doc fee was $999 and I was told this was non-negotiable... There goes the reasonable price for the vehicle. The following day I spoke to the sale manager and brought up my concerns. He specifically stated that the etching fee WAS OPTIONAL after I cited the CT law to him. So at that point I was wondering why the finance guy BLATANTLY lied to me. I argued the doc fee saying that it was outrageous and that was absurdly high. He continued to tell me that that was a standard fee and everyone pays it... No way. Look it up. That is highway robbery. I ultimately ended up backing out of the deal after realizing that many people had very similar reviews and experiences with this. Of course they dont let you know any of those fees until AFTER you strike a deal. The night I came home from the dealership and looked at all of the paperwork, that's when it hit me. I had been duped. I lost an entire night's sleep over it, digging and researching. I ignored the warning signs and my gut to get my wife a vehicle she would love. I put too much trust in this dealership and was left with a gutwrenching feeling in my stomach. Don't make the same mistake I did, steer clear and go somewhere else. The finance guy lied straight to mine and my wife's face!! Abdul, shame on you. Classic reel you in with a low price and then dump fees on you after you strike a deal.
