I was recommended to have Briggs Machine to do some small machine work for me. I brought my own materials and gave them a detailed drawing of what I needed. I received a call just over a week later telling me my four pieces where finished and ready to be picked up. Upon going to pick them up I find they hadn't welded anything together. And the cost to machine four small pieces had taken and astonishing 8 hours and $600.00 out of my pocket plus tax. I could buy the parts I had them make, commercially for $900.00. I took the pieces they had manufactured to 2 other machine shops the same day. I asked them both, how much would it cost to duplicate what Briggs had done. They both told me Approximately $300.00 including materials. Both were shocked at the $600.00 price tag and not even welded yet. I wonder how much more that would have cost. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING HERE! Two other shops would do the same work for less than half of what they charged me for an unfinished job. I just happened to go on a recommendation.... bad pick

I went to Briggs with a very expensive, and complex part ,one afternoon. I gave instructions as to what was required, and to my surprise the very next mor ning my part was complete and to perfect specifications. I can t say enough about their skill and professionalism I was amazed. Scott
