Drove from Lacey because I heard how good this place was. They sell their chocolate in bags if you need bulk amounts. There’s bagged chocolate literally smells like hot cocoa and it tastes wonderful. Plenty of yummy treats to choose from. I can’t wait to go back!

Boehm’s has always been a landmark staple for out of town family members and guests for years. Now, we enjoy taking and sharing this tradition with our grandchildren. We truly enjoy this historic place and the story behind it.

Boehms Candy in Issaquah, WA, is a fantastic spot known for its amazing chocolate. Established in 1942 by the Boehm family, this place has been making delicious treats for over 80 years, and you can really taste the quality in every bite!

The grounds are just as delightful as the candy. The charming chalet-style building gives it a cozy, mountain feel, and the surrounding park is beautifully kept, making it a lovely place to stroll around while enjoying their sweets.

One of the coolest things about Boehms Candy is that they offer tours of their factory during the off-season. It’s a fun opportunity to see how their chocolate is made and learn a bit about the history of this beloved candy shop.

Whether you're from the area or just visiting, you definitely need to stop by Boehms Candy. With delicious chocolates, a beautiful setting, and the chance to see how it's all made, it’s an experience you won’t forget. Treat yourself to some of their famous chocolates, and you’ll see why Boehms has such a great reputation!

Okay you guys, this is one of my RING THE ALARM reviews!!! If you have not been here yet, please go IMMEDIATELY! We had such a great experience here from the moment we walked in to the heavenly smell of..CHOCOLATE! The store is laid out beautifully and the staff is so kind and helpful! We did the chocolate making class/tour and it was a choice I will never regret making! During this 2 hour walking tour we got to see the facility and learn about the chocolate making process as well as the history of Boehms and it's founder. We got to make our own custom chocolates which was SO MUCH FUN! Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and made this experience that much better for us! There is so much included in this walking tour including a look at the founder's original housing and chapel that was built on the property. If you have not stopped by this historic gem before please make sure you do because I definitely will be back to do this again!!!

We had a tour of the factory, chapel and the upstairs of the building. The young woman who led our group tour was very knowledgeable about all facets of the buildings, production and was kind enough to take our picture with our paper candy making hats on. I truly enjoyed the upstairs. It was full of interesting artifacts, cool paintings, a neat start system, piano and old music box.

The factory tour took us through the processing and packing of candy both big and small. All the chocolates are still handmade. Our guide showed us how the molds are used, explained the differences between the milk and dark chocolates and showed us some of the very large chocolate products that can be ordered. There were plenty of delicious samples along the way.

Like most tours, we ended in the retail shop where we could purchase chocolates for our plane ride home.

I recommend stopping and shopping. Their candies are soooo good.
