i wish there was a minus star to give. This was the worst online experience ever. Ordered it online with install. They sent me countless texts made sure i did all the prep work send me texts that I had to be home the whole day. I took time off work. No one called me the whole today to give me any updates. I waited the whole day and finally called customer service. This has to be the worst customer service I have every experienced. They were incapable of providing me any updates and then said the tech will not be able to install today. So they never updated me until spent the whole day waiting for them and I had to call them to find out the truth. Hopefully Best Buy CEO reads this review if he wants to know why folks go back to Amazon vs shopping at this unprofessional company

The Geeks are always friendly and helpful.
I want to give a shout-out to the young man who helped me. I went in to buy a screen protector for my phone.
I told him I didn't need an expensive one, as I'll be upgrading phones as soon as the S25 comes out next year. I paid $50 for the one I have on my phone.
He did not need to disclose that the screen protector had a warranty and, even though it was 2 years old, would be replaced at no charge.

This best buy was pretty good all things considered. Parking is easy to find, employees are easy to find and respond well to questions. Place is clean and clearly looked after, but my only issue is that some of the demos in the tech section weren't functional.

This review is specifically for the employee at the customer service desk named "Nathan".

We stopped in on a busy Saturday early November because my phone screen had a warranty and it needed to be replaced. We came in and told Nathan why we were there and he informed us we'd have to confirm they had the right screen protector in stock - he came with us to look since he had a feeling it might not be there and with his help, we managed to find 1 of the 2 remaining. He really truly went above and beyond. It was surprising (which is more of a statement on current consumerism than anything else), but he embodied the old-style of customer service in every way. Someone please see this and let him know he did a great job.

I’m not sure why my husband gives this business our money. The worst customer service working the registers. It doesn’t take that many brain cells to have a cashier job but it must take a little extra to hire people with better personalities that treat customers better. The store layout is also very misleading with a big sign that says “Store Pick Up” but they tell you to get in the checkout line? The cashier, whose name I couldn’t say because she was not wearing a name tag- very snappy told me I was in the wrong line, I went where I was told. And eventually still got stuck getting my item from her. She barely spoke and when she did it was quiet and I couldn’t understand her. She acted like my existence offended her. She asked for my ID on a $20 item like I’m just over here stealing the most useless items with my email confirmation and everything.

This place is a perfect example of why we all shop online. I knew exactly what I wanted and checked on their website to make sure it was in stock. Went in to the store, found the item I wanted but it was in a locked cabinet. I asked for help and then stood around like an idiot for 20 minutes. No one ever showed up.

Meanwhile I saw at least 5 employees aimlessly wandering around, and another 2 or 3 standing near the exit, supposedly checking receipts, although they really weren't even doing that because I was one of maybe 10 customers in the whole store.

I gave up, but on my way out I politely spoke to one of those receipt checkers and asked him to tell his manager that they had lost a customer tonight and told him my story. I was met with a blank stare and the impression that he literally could not care less.

This is why retail is dying, and with good reason.

By the way, after I got home I found the same product online for 30% less.

Negative review is not for this store but for customer service department because I cannot get through to a supervisor!

Went to this location to purchase a new washer and dryer and have the appliances installed. The first washer that came in was damaged (looked like it had been dropped) and an exchange was ordered. The replacement washer was installed and two days later we noticed water leaking from our upstairs laundry room to the room below! The drywall, flooring, carpet and paint was ruined! It even leaked to the adjacent bathroom upstairs. We had a contractor come to assess the damage and he found one of the hose connectors wasn’t fully tightened! That small mistake resulted in $9,000 worth of repairs!!!

I called to report a claim. I was told the claim was made and that I’d be receiving a call back for more information (even though I explained in detail what happened). I called again 2 days later (after not receiving a call back). I had to provide all the details again and was told once more a claim was made and I’d be hearing a call back within 3-5 days.

5 days come and no call. I call back for a third time and am told that a claim has still not been filed! And that I’d need to provide all the details about what happened again!

I tried to get through to a supervisor to let them know that mistakes have been made at nearly every stage of my order, but after being on hold for 1 hr the call hung up.

Do not purchase appliances from Best Buy if you don’t have to. And if you do, have someone else install it. I have never experienced anything like this from other companies that sell and install appliances.
