I was a General Oil Company customer before Bienvenuti bought them out. I figured if they were anything like General Oil, they would be great.

Big Mistake.

Unprofessional, messy, and bad communication are just scratching the surface.

I hired Bienvenuti to install a central air system to replace my old system, new air handler and compressor with all new copper piping. I was an existing oil customer and had both general and bienvenuti do work on my furnace in the past.

Unprofessional:
The bienvenuti install team were crass and disrespectful. They used our dining chairs as step stools, left trash everywhere, and at one point, I overheard them reminiscing over all the times they messed up installing hvac for their customers. After they brazed the copper for my job, they said “it’s not my best work, but it should hold” (there was a leak in the lines that had to be repaired). The technician who installed the condenser mentioned he cross-threaded the last one he installed.

Messy:
The installers left trash all over the house, and had the audacity to tell me they pride themselves in cleaning up after every job, everyday. The team lead left cigarette butts all over my property, in my garden beds and driveway. Unacceptable behavior.

The brazing install burned my rafters and joists, used no shielding to protect my home and the actual connections look terrible. I could have done a cleaner job.

Bad communication:
The install was supposed to be 2 days (as stated in my contract), I day of machinery install and 1 day of ductwork. Bienvenuti forgot to inform the duct work team and I had to wait an extra two weeks for their materials to arrive to finish the job. I signed the contract in March, job was finished in July.

For the cost of the job, the quality doesn’t match. My limited experience sweating copper could have done the work at a fraction of the cost.

To the Owner:

Waiting 2 years to make a review does not invalidate the accuracy of it. If you’d like more proof, please provide your email and I will gladly send you what I have.

I’m still left with a bad taste due to the quality received versus the cost paid. Because it’s still lingering in my mind I decided to make a review as to warn other potential customers of the work your company performs.

I leave bad reviews for bad services performed.

I did not make one prior in case of retaliation, as the system was still new and issues would need to be fixed. Oil delivery has nothing to do with AC service. Your response speaks to the professionalism of your company. Another reason I’ve cancelled your services.

I was an oil customer solely for oil delivery which I have already cancelled.

Please review the pictures I have posted of the quality of your install. Does this look like quality work?are you proud of what you see?

Time will tell how long it will all last. So far it’s working but like you’ve mentioned, it’s only been two years.

When our furnace died and started leaking Benvenuti was quick to respond and temporarily stop the leak so we wouldn't lose Heat or water during the cold spell.

My options were explained without any pressure. Benvenuti rearranged their schedule to install a new furnace as quickly as possible. We did not lose heat or water except for a short period of time during the two day install.
The technicians were very professional and diligent in their duties. They did a great job and took their time in answering all my questions.

I am grateful for the effort and service they provided. Everything worked out well.

I just had my old oil tank and boiler replaced by a Roth tank and high efficiency boiler by Benvenuti Oil Co. First I should mention that working with Jennifer in the office for the paperwork was a pleasure. As far as the installation is concerned, Gary and Marcus did an outstanding job. They were on time, polite, respectful, hard working, and formed a great team. With every visit downstairs, Gary took the time to explain to me what they were doing, and when the work was completed, he walked me through the operation of the new boiler. Finally, they left the work area clean even though it's a messy job to remove a vintage oil tank and boiler 🙂 I'm a very satisfied customer and highly recommend Benvenuti for this type of work.

At 6PM New Year's eve we noticed cold are from the heat ducts. The furnace was not functioning. The Benvenuti on-call tech was there in 30 minutes and had the furnace working 20 minutes later. We left our warm house in time to make the 8PM New Year's Eve Party. Stress to Bless! We have had Benvenuti since 2020. They have a great team and never let us down. Leonard & Ingrid Parker
