Dined in for breakfast while staying at the Hyatt Regency. Nice decor and seating. Coffee was excellent; really enjoyed the flavor and temperature. Service was very good. The negative was the allegedly "clean" coffee cup on our table that had some lady's lipstick still on it. Gross - and honestly made me question the rest of the utensils and serveware. We both ordered the crab and avocado omelette which was enjoyable. Would consider returning, but will keep an eye on the cleanliness next time!

Disappointed. I came here for happy hour with my friend. We selected 3 choices on the happy hour menu: the deviled eggs, jumbo hearth pretzel and pub sliders. The eggs were the only ones I enjoyed. Everything else I do not recommend.
The price for each happy hour choice was $14+ and that was with their happy hour discount ($2 discount). The food was extremely overpriced and not worth it. I also felt the service from our waiter was poor. I will not be returning for happy hour or recommending to friends.

Fairly good fare attached to the Hyatt at Tyson’s Corner Center. We had brunch and lunch options during the visit. Had the steak and eggs, crab and bacon omelet with avocados on top, caramelized pork belly, house burger, and French toast. Large selection of cocktails, wines, and liquors. One of the best bloody Marys we’ve had in recent memory. The steak was slightly above medium but the flavors were there. Service was attentive.

I've had many gourmet breakfasts before attached to Hyatt properties. This was one of the best ones, I've had. From the super soft and fluffy pretzel with a cheese sauce to die for, to the crab and avocado omelette my wife ordered, this was an amazing experience.

The restaurant his on point a very rustic feel. There was wood decorations amount, helping lend to the "barrel" moniker in the name.

I ordered a 6oz Angus steak and eggs. The cage free eggs had a solid egg flavor, I eat a lot of eggs but these eggs had a very clear egg flavor to them unlike most big box supermarket eggs. The steak was tender and flavorful. My wife had the crab and avocado omelette. Juicy and tasty crab meat filled the omelette to busting along with a strip of thick cut bacon. Potatoes were soft, fluffy, and savory. And the orange juice refreshing.

The pretzel warrants it's own section of writing. Super soft and super fluffy with just the right amount of salt on it. I'm not a big fan of mustard but my wife took a small taste and almost bit my fingers off getting to the pretzel piece (despite claiming she was full 😂).

The service here was also excellent. Our hostess, Karen, was all smilesOur server, David, didn't rush us, checked up on us frequently, and overall treated us like friends coming over for dinner.

Overall, it was a great experience. The pricing was actually very manageable for what we got. It should be noted that as a Globalist, the final bill was less, but I would come here even if I wasn't a Globalist for the quality v price.

Barrel & Bushel is a restaurant right next to the Hyatt hotel and connected to the Tysons Corner mall.

The service is slow and uninterested, but luckily that suited the vibe of our dinner (we weren't in a rush).

The atmosphere is fine. Extremely high ceilings mean that everything echoes and there's a bar with TVs next to the dining room, so it's loud.

There's no restroom in the restaurant. You have to go to the hotel lobby to use the restroom.

However, I really enjoyed the food. The LOADED TOTS are fried just right. The PIMENTO DEVILED EGGS are tasty (though very heavy on pimento). I got the PUB SLIDERS as my meals and they were quite tasty.

The SMOKED CHEESE CRAB SOUP was a little different for cream of crab soup, and I liked it, though some may be put off by the amount of old bay in the recipe.

My Boutique Apple cocktail was so tasty I had to order two!

The CARAMEL APPLE BREAD PUDDING was out of this world and the CHOCOLATE SWISS CHALET CAKE was delicious as well.

If I'm in no rush, I'd return for sure!

Ate there for lunch on a Monday a couple weeks ago for the first time. Not a lot of people in, which was great. The lamb burger was delicious, and so was the salmon. I'd go back for the dinner service.

If I could give more stars I would… Out host name was David, young man who perfectly matched our vibe and orders… Chris the Manager was great and later told us, David was his first hire… Great catch and I would love to see David move up the ladder, maybe get behind the bar… David is a great addition to the team… oh and the food was amazing 💙🤤

Enjoyed the Christmas Party hosted by my company. We drove in from Baltimore and it was well worth the traffic!!

Great food, GREAT service, and the atmosphere was giving!!!

CERTAINLY, coming back down for date night soon!
