Just like the reviewer below I sent in a tent with zippers that had failed due to poor workmanship and fabric that was failing and leaking. Top of the line tent. And they just said it’s wear and tear. They didn’t even offer to try to fix it. She said they couldn’t fix any of it because they found some duct tape residue in one spot we field fixed. Not sure how this affects zipper repairs. They even wanted me to pay 10 dollars to get my tent back unrepaired. Don’t waste your money on big Agnes their lifetime warranty is meaningless the their products are poorly made. This is the second tent they did this to me with. I am a search and rescue tech and I don’t abuse my gear. I will be letting everyone I know about their lack of concern and support and deteriorating quality, I had a north face tent get flattened in a wind storm and they reviewed the photos and sent me a replacement. No muss no fuss. These guys are a joke in our industry. I’d also recommend Nemo as they repair their gear and it’s very well constructed

I used to be a huge supporter of the brand, especially their tents and sleeping pads. But recently I sent a tent in for repairs and asked multiple times to be quoted before repair. The zipper pulls had come physically apart, and I wanted to know if it was in warranty before repairing. I also included a tent pole section, again with a hand written note for a quote (not repair) of one bent section. The first time, Big Agnes only repaired the zippers without a quote. They deemed it out of warranty, even though the pull itself has come apart at the glued section, which meant I was also on the hook to pay for shipping as well as the repairs for both zippers. I had to call and ask about the pole quote, and they told me they forgot to do it and would send me a quote. A few days later, I received an invoice for all the completed repairs, and no quote. Now, I'm on the hook to pay for all the repairs and shipping, when I only ever asked for a quote. While I love that they repair gear, I will not be purchasing another tent from them again since they perform work and then hold your tent until you pay, even if you email, call and leave a hand written note in the box asking for a quote first. I know it seems like a small amount for repairs, but only one zipper pulls was actually broken beyond use, so I ended up paying for nearly triple the repairs I actually needed to have a functional tent.

I needed a new sleeping bag for camping trip yesterday.. The the guy was very informative and helpful. He asked many questions about how I slept, where I was camping and how I camped. He put me in the perfect sleeping bag. Last night, the tent at 7 degrees was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely go here to get what you need instead of just grabbing on off the shelf at some local store. Praise to the employee. God Bless, from the little blue jeep

I had a BA Fly Creek UL(?!) 2. Fly delamed after a year or so. Seam tape fell off after a few months. The pole shock cords got stretched out and I had to relace them to make the tighter. Made of sagy water absorbent material. But then what can you expect from a cheap heavy weight tent? I've since owned 3 MSR tents which are way better. I've ordered a Dan Durston DCF tent for this year. If BA got with the times and made a FlyCreek out of DCF or Ultra 200, I'd consider it. But BA is a cheap mass produced company, I can't see them making decent product any time soon. At least the store I got the tent from offered me some rebate for having to replace it so soon.

Best in the west for outdoor great. The staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. Sean and Andrew are super awesome and Chris is the bomb!! Killer shop for locals and visitors alike. The biggest selection of tents, sleeping bags and backpacks for all your outdoor shenanigan’s at a fair price and unmatched quality. I LOVE BAP!

I don't know where these bad reviews are coming from I'm in my fourth big a tent a tiger wall ul2 and it's been taking 50 mph winds and rain here on the north shore of kauai like a champ I'm the last tent here all others have blown away its also four years old and has been on a thru hike of th PCT in 2021 Alaska this summer. Take it from the pros this is the tent you want on a budget.
