Outstanding Service at Bank of America Service Center

I recently had the opportunity to visit a Bank of America service center while traveling from Austin, TX, to Washington, DC, for a high-value purchase. My goal was to secure a cashier’s check to complete the transaction for a luxury watch from a private seller. However, I quickly ran into an issue—an existing transaction in my account would not clear until the following day, making a cashier’s check unavailable.

That’s when Karen and Nyla stepped in with a solution. They recommended using a wire transfer instead and guided me through every step of the process. Their expertise and professionalism ensured that everything went smoothly, allowing me to finalize my purchase without any delays and still make my return flight on time. They gave me and the seller all confidence we needed to complete the transaction.

I typically rely on the Bank of America mobile app and rarely visit service centers in person, but this experience reaffirmed the value of having knowledgeable and dedicated team members available when you need them most. A big thank you to Karen and Nyla for their exceptional service!

The teller was neither professional nor patient, and their attitude came across as arrogant and dismissive. I brought an A4 paper printed by my company to deposit my payroll, as it was my first paycheck and direct deposit had not yet been set up. The document contained all the necessary details, including the check number, my name and address, the company’s name and address, and the company’s bank information. However, the teller claimed it wasn’t a valid check and refused to process the deposit.

Later, I went to another bank (starting with “C”), where the staff quickly verified its authenticity and processed the deposit professionally and courteously. Clearly, it was possible to handle. Even my company’s HR confirmed there was no issue. Yet, BOA's teller insisted it couldn’t be done and displayed rude behavior. Due to their lack of familiarity with their work and unwillingness to investigate further, I recommend they undergo retraining before returning to their position.

I had our banking for 30 years with another bank that was outstanding in every way. At this bank I just had to take care of one little thing for my old uncle. Truly a disaster. I had to go to the bank 5 times. Nobody can take responsibility to do the job.

Newly renovated reduced the teller window to “only one window” I know this is the business strategy for make you difficult to do withdrawal. But really ? you have a huge 5000sq brunch but only one window? I know this is Bank of America you don’t care about customer service because you know we can do nothing but this is way to much .

Waited in-line for over an hour. There was only one teller and many other people walking around with ipads but they could no help any of us. SMH. I've been a customer for more than 20 years at this location. This is byfar my worst experience here. Ridiculous BOA!!! Do better. Lost another customer do to lack of customer value.

This is probably the best Bank of America branch. Diyar and Leah are the best tellers and always help with simple and complicated transactions. Highly recommend them for any banking needs!
