I read the other reviews and I had the same complaint about not having online bill pay in the past. However it looks like they do have online bill pay starting this year. That said, it still doesn’t improve their billing notifications or billing cycle. They did shut of my service this morning which lead me to just look up other options. I found out that BMID prices are the highest compared to KID or CID at least by a $100 for my lot size. I called the City of Richland to ask if I had an option to use a different irrigation district and unfortunately the answer was no.

Their answer was everyone is watering now
So that means I have to leave with that?
No watering my yard that we paid a lot of money to put on?
So is any solution about it?

BMID has provided super great service the past 3 years that we've lived in our home. No service interruptions, great pressure and reasonable cost. Much better than KID. Thank you BMID for all that you do. You're very much appreciated.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with, it's disgusting a company is allowed to stay in business and treat their customers so badly. No other company would stay in business if they treated people this badly, it's only because they do not have competition and are backed by the state that they still remain. This is a shame.

They said they sent us payment due notice which we never saw. Could have gotten lost in the mail as we had just moved in. Then they shut off water without a warning and when I called to inquire the receptionist was short and rude and inflexible with the situation. We are more than willing to pay our bill's on time when we get the notifications. This was a first for us as usually our irrigation bill is included in our mortgage payment.

Called and spoke with receptionist at BMID - Richland has experienced 2 outages in less than a month since being turned on. The receptionist was extremely short and rude on the phone and showed no understanding to the situation. Customer service is essential even when your hands are tied and the situation is unable to be resolved immediately this business would do well to remember that.

What is wrong with this company's policies? We pay on 4/30, they receive it on 5/3, and then disconnect the water on 5/18 for *non-payment*. Just to confirm, that is *15* days after we paid.

Then, to add to the pleasantry, my water supply is held hostage until the full amount plus penalty is paid. I think this is called extortion and it used to be illegal (except when used by local monopolies run by a board of dingleberries).

The customer experience here makes the local DMV look like paradise.
