Good locale, had nice showroom WITH the style of furniture i wanted for my bedroom, and i decided to add a couch/loveseat/end tables as well after i got there, and they had EXACTLY what i was looking for. Good folks, no pressure, answered my many questions politely and professionally, and remembered my name when i came back in to buy. Great experience.

Went in on 1/2/24 looking for home theater reclining sofa. Sales lady was great. I went in bargain center and was interested in a 2 seater recliner that had a large rip on it. The price was $299. When The sales lady went to ask the store manager about discounting the loveseat, she came back and says that the loveseat was $699 a piece ! I was shocked ! She said that it would be $1200 for both! The sales lady looks at me shocked! Mind you this is damaged furniture! Then she moves the price sticker and the price under it was $199 ! I was outdone ! She was also outdone but stick with her intent to sell me a bargain damage love seat for price of new sofas they had on the floor. I left the store as she kept saying ‘corporate priced this ‘. The sales lady walked me to the door and really wanted to apologize to me but couldn’t. Because she knew the store manager did me wrong! I have bought several furniture from this place CASH not on credit ! But for her to lie and try to deceive me about the price was very awful! She not only was wrong but she was very unfriendly and seem to not even care or apologize!
Not sure what happened to the manager from a year ago, but she was nice kind and the store carried a better atmosphere than this new lady whom the whole time was talking with a mouth full of food !

We bought over a 1,000 dollar recliner and I didn't like it because it didn't have bar and it was hard to push close, so a couple days later I called to asked for an exchange for maybe a motorized one and they wouldn't let me! Sometimes it takes a couple of days to see if something is a good fit for your family and they only give you only 24 hours to return or exchange! Anyways all they did for us send 2 inexperienced furniture guys to try to fix it for us and they didn't do nothing for us, except back over our mailbox and then they were suppose to come back and fix it and or replace it but all they did was put sackcrete on it and it's still bent up, they should have replaced it, how tacky can u be! We had a nice mailbox until then! So I have been dealing with that uncomfortable recliner, my husband finally let me go somewhere and and get a better one! We went to Johnson furniture clearance in Eclectic and got better one with half the price what badcock charges! Plus they delivered the next day free of charge and with 5 year warranty! I have had this new recliner a couple of weeks now and very pleased with it! If you want respectable customer service and still have your mailbox, go to Johnson Furniture. I will never buy from badcock, again! That might be why Wetumpka went out of business! Badcock has poor quality and most of the time they are overpriced! ?

Update January 18, Badcock corporate messaged me and said they would see what they could do to make it right, bullcrap they just wanted to have the lasts word and to seem like they care which they don't. I still have a very un comfortable 1,000 chair, which I can't use and still have a bent up mailbox, the very least they could do is replace my bent up mailbox instead of just putting sackcrete on it to hold up my bent up mailbox. The only reason corporate corporate responded is to have the lasts word, they the
don't care and they are the worst at customer service!

Kiara is perfect! I used to be a district training manager, and along with training new associate's in sales and product knowledge there are certain behaviors that are intrinsic rather than just taught. Kiara quickly provided a resolution to an issue I was having with a purchase that I had originally initiated online. I don't like having to ask others for what I can do for myself. However, and 2 previous tech support calls( and they helped me as much as they could) only a store sales associate could really help me finish my transaction. I briefly explained my issue, and she politely asked me if it was alright for her to put me on hold while she did some research, and I acknowledged. Shortly thereafter she returned, and quickly had my issue resolved and even told me how soon I could get my new items. She was just really impressive across all metrics with regards to my purchases and I would certainly be offering her a position in management and training!

I would like to leave more stars than this because during the purchase of our furniture (which was some living room pieces and a complete bedroom suit) we received excellent customer service. However, things went south when it came to delivery and service after delivery. I was told things would be delivered on a certain day and that day got changed without my knowledge, even though I sat waiting when they told me to. I had to call to find out it was changed. One of my pieces of furniture was not delivered because it was confused with a different customer's piece that the other customer planned to pick up. When they finally delivered the piece that they left out, it arrived to my house with all the glass smashed. I had to come to the store to get information on how that was going to be fixed because no one from the store called me then either. During that visit I was promised by the manager that she would take care of me personally and call me back to ensure everything was delivered properly and that she would secure a discount on the piece for my troubles. The manager has not returned any of my messages since that day and I have been in a half a dozen times since then. However, they have not neglected to bill me for the furniture at its full price. I have made two payments on the furniture and still have not been able to reach or speak to the manager again. That is not how you serve customers who purchase almost two rooms of furniture from your establishment. Also, I ordered two additional pillows for my couch and I have yet to receive them. When I ask about the order, they are confused. It has been two months since my original delivery date.

Bought a mattress and adjustable base in early January it was delivered late January..by August it was beginning to sink in the middle, a tech came out said it would be replaced, didn't hear anything back so I called after getting a run around for a few hours I was told the tech said it was dirty and had no mattress pad, my answer was I took off the pad &bedding before the tech got there. Anyway the mattress had some area that was soiled so they will not do anything. Understand but don't like being told one thing and then doing another. Not trustworthy at all. No customer service

Needed a washing machine as ours slung a rod this week. Checked with Badcock first, then 3 other retailers, then came back to Badcock and purchased there. Chloe laid it all out for us and printed the quote for us to take with us. I also purchased a large he-man-sized recliner that I'm going to love. Chloe Miller went above and beyond in helping us make our selections. She is very knowledgeable of her products and services. Plus she is very positive which sold me on getting the recliner now instead of waiting till later, very good Up Sale! I wish I had people like her on my sales staff. Overall easy and nice buying experience. Promote that girl now!

Very nice furniture. The staff is sweet, but few. I guess that's due to economic effects of the pandemic. Be prepared to load your furniture if you opt for pickup. I think whoever owns the place might want to do a walk through and see areas that need improving as it could be a much more inviting store with not much work. The sofa that I purchased seems to be of good quality and it arrived pretty quickly, just 3 weeks, and I will consider buying at Badcock in the future.
