I received a quote from Aylett and decided to purchase my gravel through them. Since they do not have service trucks, I had to contract the pickup and delivery with an independent company. When the dump truck arrived at my residence, the gravel was not what I ordered. I had to send the driver back, which is an hour trip$$$ one way. I received credit for the returned gravel, and payed more money for the gravel I wanted initially, which was more money and a different # than what was texted to me. I thought I had planned accordingly with pictures and descriptions texted to me from Aylett, but somehow it still got mixed up. The other thing is that I received 3 different quotes on what I wanted. I work in the service industry and they have not tried to correct this or apologize. I had to pay the trucking company again to deliver the gravel and pay more than my initial quote from Aylett. Their product was good, but they do not take responsibility if they hose something up. I have called several times and texted the company back for the past 4 days with no response. This is my first review on any company and hate to say something negative about anyone, but just wanted to warn the community before someone else has to go through this.

Aylett Sand & Gravel has saved me a lot of $ over the past 18 years by selling me pickup truck loads of crush run gravel. They fill my pickup bed, I go home, shovel gravel onto driveway, rake it with a steel rake, good to go. Helpful staff.
