Very courteous and prompt. I needed them to turn off my water to fix a leak. They were there within the hour. I got the leak fixed and they returned to turn it back on. Very pleased.

I needed my water shut off because I have a leak I need to fix. This leak is going through about 15-20 gallons of water in a day at least. I spoke with Linda. She was nice at first and said someone would come out to turn my water off and that I could turn it on after. Took my number since the account is under my step fathers name for the maintenance guy to call me when he’s here. He never called my phone. He called my step fathers phone multiple times which he was busy with a conference meeting so I didn’t hear of it till after that meeting which was 20 mins before they closed. I call them and tell them no one ever called me and I still need my water shut off. Now it’s the whole meter that needs to be shut off since they can’t turn the gauge off, when I just had it turned off and on by two different companies for maintenance to be performed on my house so I’m not sure why avra water can’t turn it off. So I’m told to call one of those companies and have them do it and Linda made sure I knew she did me a COURTESY by taking down my phone number for me to receive the call I never got even though she insisted the maintenance guy called me. He didn’t, and how was I supposed to know she did me a courtesy? All she did was ask for my number and said someone would call me. Not getting that call to figure something out sooner is EXTREMELY frustrating considering this leak is right next to my house creating a puddle that’s making the dirt under the foundation of my house uneven and it’s running up my water bill.

Awful, awful, awful... Turned off our water without a phone call, a text message, a voicemail, someone coming to put a notice on the door, nothing. I have paid this bill on time for YEARS! I take ownership for not pressing the last button in the website because my whole family got Covid and then the Flu back to back..... but not calling anyone or sending a piece of mail or anything- just horribly rude people. It is hot outside and I have a child and animals- this is the worst company I have ever dealt with

My water was disconnected without notice for late payment. I take responsibility for missing the payment and I emedietly paid it. I called the emergency line to have them reconnect it. The tech then called me and said it will cost $50. I said fine how soon can you be here. He said 40 mins. We hung up and 5 mins later the Tech called me back and said his boss said not to because it was early in the morning. So why am I paying a $50 fee to have it turned on at their convience? I am truly shocked that they would leave a customer high and dry during a emergency and during a pandemic. It is now their regular operating hours and I have yet to have my water turned back on. This is a bad company run by bad managment. You've got to love monopolies, the company's don't have to care about customers service. Thank for screwing me over Avra Water.

Waited nearly 6 months to ask to pay a deposit of 125 regardless of 6 billing cycles and now want to demand payment for it and disconnected us with not one single notice or reminder about the deposit and than to talk down in a condescending voice! What other alternative do i have!
Simple solution:
A) work with us till we can pay it in full on Friday and a prior FYI would have been appreciated.

Avra water Co-op is a very well-run small local community water company. They have always been fair to me and have good prices for what you would think of as being very expensive water in the middle of the desert.
