Apple Grove taxidermy is a great place to get your taxidermy done. When I got my Bull Elk, I called a couple taxidermists and they told me to stop by during their business hours. My wife found Craig at Apple grove on Facebook. I called Craig and his response was when would you like to bring it? I asked if I could stop by see some of his work before trusting him with my bull. His work looked amazing so I left my bull with him. Wow did he do a great job. He even delivered it and helped me hang it on the wall (for a small fee, I would have paid double). I have sent several friends and family members to him, I have only heard great things about his work. Yesterday I picked up my Whitetail pack-board mount and again he did amazing work. 5 stars Craig.

My buddy and I went to Northern Idaho for an elk cut. I got my elk on day two of our ten day trip! We came out of the woods to take it to a butcher shop and found out nowhere in the area, cuts and wraps wild game?! They said that during the fair they are backed up 2 to 3 months!

I found Applegrove Taxidermy and Meat cutting online. I called up Craig and that same day. My elk was hanging and he took in my bull to do a European mount at the same time! Super nice people. He showed us around his studio at his taxidermy work and their butcher shop. We filled out a cut sheet and told us to call when we got another. He even gave us a few tips as it was our first time to Idaho.

We didn’t harvest another, but like he said we called him when we hit gravel and when we showed up he brought out all out meat cut, wrapped and frozen and helped load it for the trip back! He’d already finished my European mount as well! Super honest good folks. Can’t wait to go back to Idaho. Such a beautiful place!

My girlfriend and I came to the area with a work colleague for an elk hunt. We figured if we got one we would quarter it and take it to the butcher. Apparently, it’s not that simple. Every butcher around was full AND doesn’t cut up wild game! I called one who recommended Apple Grove Taxidermy and Meat in Princeton. Called and talked to Craig the owner. Super nice guy. He’s chatty like I am and I got elbowed more than once by my girlfriend to wrap it up. Checking it in and getting our meat requests was super easy, and after our long day simple was good! Very reasonable pricing. He’s got some AWESOME mounts in his taxidermy studio. Highly recommend!

Craig the owner of apple grove taxidermy is THE place to go. I called many taxidermy places in northern idaho and got a lot of negativity from those calls. When I called Craig up it was different than anyone else. Craig was very into my hunt and wanted to know everything about the hunt. Craig isn’t all about making the money. He really tries to make your special mount a memory of your hunt. He is very detailed in making sure it is perfect. Craig not only cares about you but he really cares about your animal. He will not disappoint. It has been perfect. Thank you Craig !

These guys have now done an elk, mule deer and mountain goat for me and all the work is well done with great attention to detail. With that I also had them do the meat processing on a deer this past year and the work was great, fast and all at a good rate. Highly recommend.
