Our power bill keeps skyrocketing! Nothing differently is being done in our home to warrant such a huge jump in price. In fact, we have become hyper-vigilant in making sure only what we need is on and plugged in. We have TWO SMALL heaters and somehow our bill this month is more than summer months when we had THREE window AC units. Make it make sense. Our bill is normally around hundred and fifty or less, this month it was almost four hundred.

Constant power flickering and outages with no explanation as to why it’s happening. Takes at least two days to restore power no matter the demand or weather conditions. Garbage company. It’s funny how the power bill is expected to be paid on time, every time, but outages and issues are fixed whenever is convenient for them. Please allow the customers to pay the power bill whenever is convenient and I’ll take back my one star review.

Typical of any big company without competition. Always gives an excuse for poor service and lack of follow up. Call and ask for a supervisor and get the run around. They need a competition to knock them down a few pegs

Appalachian Power is a monopoly that needs to be broken up and have competition in area. If you're using the same amount of electricity the rates should not skyrocket . Greed should be the name of this company I get that all cost are going up but, as a business you could take a hit temporarily so you're customers are not hurting to pay bills. I hope Dominion energy decides to invest out this way and break up the monopoly you have on this area . What y'all are doing is not right .

Brit A. of Truevine Rd Glade Hill, VA 24092, my grand daughter, wants to know why her power bill has gone from $200 plus per month to $400 plus per month; she cannot afford it. She rents a single wide mobile home with a heat pump and 2 adults and one child in the home. How can you help her financially?
