If I could give less than 1⭐ I would. I have had no other choice but to use this utility and it has been a complete nightmare. They are the absolute worst and I pray for a day when I can get rid of them for good. They do nothing but prey on the elderly and the disabled and take advantage of each and every opportunity to use the lack of regulatory oversight and fear of punishment to fleece and exploit their customers. The things they're allowed to get away with...even though it may be legal, is in my opinion is unforgivable and should be illegal.

Haven’t done anything to maintain the trees around our lines in the 6 years we have lived in their service area. We lose power every time it rains, or a slight breeze rolls through. 0/10 would not recommend.

I am a single mother caring for my son and elderly mom, due to the fact I was out of town caring for my mom I forgot to pay my bill so they disconnected my service and left me without electricity. I begged them to understand I was out on disability and taking care of my mom but they wouldn't wave the almost $100 fee involved to get my lights turned on . This company shows no courtesy to their customers, what is this world coming to !

A crew from AEP in Lovingston, along with workers from West Virginia, restored my power after the recent storm. They had to replace a pole in a hard to reach area and a transformer on another pole and rerun wire. I am so thankful for all they do after every storm! They are wonderful!

Slow to respond when there's a power outage. They won't bother trying to reimburse you when your food goes bad. Anything to inconvenience the consumer.

As a customer of AEP, I have to pay a fee to pay my bill. This is unfair and poor customer service.
