I constantly buy protection plans because they’re very affordable, but I have never used them. Unfortunately, my TV started messing up so it gave me an opportunity to utilize my Allstate protection plan. There was a troubleshooting email that didn’t fix the problem so I was asked to send photos of the issue, along with the serial number for the television. Getting the serial number was a bit of a challenge because it’s on the back of the TV which was hanging on the wall. Once I sent that information , I received a email response with 48 hours asking me to call for further assistance. The representative that I spoke to was friendly and professional. They offered a replacement for the television, but there was not one available locally so they wound up mailing me a check. It was a quick and easy process that was taken care of within a week. I will continue to purchase Allstate protection plans based on my experience.

I usually buy an extended warranty on anything that cost more than $20.
Recently SquareTrade has begun offering compensation less than what the purchase price was for the item, or offering to send a replacement, but then stating that a reimbursement is available for less than the purchase price.
I have had to call SquareTrade on several occasions recently because of this and I am very disappointed that they are doing this.
Previously, I loved SquareTrade, had absolutely zero issues with them, the claims process was simple, but I don't know what they're doing at this time.

We have had several recent experiences with Allstate protection plans and they have all been positive. That is not to say it's been quick and easy, but if you stay calm and logical, the claims people will listen and try to help. They have reimbursed us the price paid for an under counter freezer which became unrepairable after 3 years, and they had me send in a laptop computer for repair. The laptop repairs have held up so far. All in all, I would always be comfortable purchasing one of these policies on a new purchase.

The Allstate Protection Plan/Square Trade insurance plan that I added with my purchase was one of the best decisions I have ever made when purchasing furniture. A few weeks ago I damaged my glass/mirror table and when I contacted Allstate to file a claim, the process was very straight forward and easy to follow. I received a response in 24-48 hrs. I was given a full refund and I did not have to return the table. I was able to get my table repaired for $100. They stand 100% behind their policy (worth every cent)! I highly recommend adding the Allstate insurance to any of your expensive purchases when offered!!!

Bought an extended warranty for my Ninja coffee system great decision (my first time buying one). At 16 months I had electrical issues and the matter was settled quickly after online claim submission. I received a check and have already replaced with a new system. The system was easy to use and I was offered 3 units but a refund was the best solution for me. I will buy extended warranty coverage again as needed and I recommend!

Allstate SquareTrade is hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a warranty service company. There should be an option for negative stars. This is the 2nd time I've used them and it will absolutely be the LAST! I will never purchase one of their warranties again. I paid nearly $90 for a warranty on a $600 dryer, that's 15% which is robbery to begin with. Then when I go to use the warranty 3 years later, they give me the run around about my original receipt, which was digital, and which I'd promptly uploaded immediately after my purchase as part of jumping through the hoops of their registration process. They continued to give me the run around after I'd provided 2 different screen shots right out of the Costco business system, which Costco was good enough to provide, proving my purchase and warranty. After I have words with a supervisor, they finally concede to honor my claim, then it sits in an "Under Review" status for 4 days. I have to call back in a spend another 30 minutes on the phone to finally get a repair scheduled, which is another 5 days away. When I ask why, I'm told it's due to a "glitch" in their system. I have a family of 5 and I need my laundry equipment to work, I don't need runaround and excuses by corporate fraudsters!!! I can't say enough bad things about this company, both my experiences with them lead me to believe their warranty is a scam. They just want your money and hope you'll never use you warranty. If you do they'll try whatever they can to give you as much runaround as possible to get you to abandon your claim. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I had made a purchase at my local Walmart. I purchased the
protection plan for the items, which came in a set. Before the protection plan ended, I started having problems with one of the items. So, I filed a claim with Allstate. They responded very quickly. I filled out the paperwork. Then I sent my items (set) to them. And in as little as 10 days or less I received my check. Protection plans can come in handy when something goes wrong with your purchase.
I would highly recommend Allstate Protection Plans for a piece of mind. Happy Customer Here!!

I’ve insured several things with Allstate Protection Plans, on EBay and Amazon. The few times I’ve needed to use it, it’s always been relatively simple. To me it provides very affordable insurance and peace of mind.
Don’t forget to upload the invoice for the item you’re insuring - immediately. ( makes it super easy if you file a claim. ) You’ll have to log into Allstate and then upload your invoice. This makes it really easy if you ever have to file a claim.
I’ve been “Super” satisfied !!
