I reached out to this place about doing a great upgrade on 2 jeep axles. I guess they contract all of the jeep stuff off to another business ran by one guy. She told.me I would have to call him . I decided just to move on and find a place that does everything in house.

Hi,
My 2007 Winnebago View Sprinter had serious problems. On April 28th while traveling on SR-82E in Alabama at 7pm my RV suffered major breakdown. Oil covered my windshield, a complete loss of power experienced and and large plume of oil followed the RV to a halt. No codes or engine light. My roadside service had me towed to AMU Repair Services of Moundville, Alabama.
Right out of the box Tommy Muckenfuss, Manager of AMU greeted me and went to the truck immediately. Tommy crawled under the truck while still hooked to the wrecker. Engine bay was covered in oil, truck would start but ran rough aind out of sync. No engine codes or check lights. After inspecting Tommy informed me of the situation. Then Tommy and his crew set me up with electric power and water for RV. They let me stay on site with my motorhome while they worked. No waiting for diagnosis or wait for repair. AMU went full out to help me.
They found source of oil leak repaired it. Much more was wrong. Turbocharger was blown up. Found a rebuilt turbo and AMU installed. The Winnebago now ran but with excessive shakes and much louder. The shop's diesel man kept at it. Found a #5 fuel injector not responding. This was repaired. All the oil had been blown out earlier and replaced too. Replaced fuel filter and cleaned out the crankcase filter. Truck would run but no push or pulling power. A sad situation for sure and it could not get worse could it?
Yes it can get worse. While at their business I began to feel ill. By the third day onsite, near fainting and breathing is difficult. Tommy and his crew came together and responded. Nikki, Tommy's girlfriend took me to a urgent care facility in Tuscaloosa. Urgent Care said I needed a hospital. I was now not able to walk so they called for a ambulance to the Emergency Room. Nikki stayed with me.
After getting to hospital I was alone and from out of state (Illinois). Then Ms. Gayle Muckenfuss was in my hospital room. It was Tommie's Mother. She came to sit with me during my emergency room stay. How nice she was, just like my Mom.
4 hours later after tests I was diagnosed with pneumonia, unbelievable but true.
All this time the shop crew had kept working. Ms. Gayle drove me back to my RV. I was in no shape to stand. Nikki brought me some chicken noodle soup. AMU cared for me like family. Water ,food, facilities and love were all delivered by the AMU family and employees. For 7 days I was at Tommie Muckenfuss's facility. I was taken care for in every way possible.
Tommie Jr., Tommie Sr., Ms. Gayle, Nikki, Chuck, Bobby, Tom and other employees...Thank you from my heart. You went up, over and way beyond the normal needs of their customer.
The Winnebago View probably has bent valves and the engine needs to be replaced. This problem of engine replacement was just a bit out of this shops range. AMU then again went out of their way to help me find a service to replace the engine. They helped me get a Uhaul to empty my motorhome stuff. I had to leave my 2007 Winnebago View in Tuscaloosa engine shop. AMU followed and stayed with me through all situations. I recommend AMU, Tommie Muckenfuss Service Shop for all who have a need on the road in Alabama. Thank you and your employees.

Awesome off road shop and they’re doing RV stuff as well. They put a lift and bed liner on my truck and did an awesome job! I highly recommend them for any work or advice you may need.
