    Edit - Aug 24th, 2017: No longer impressed with them, at least the food part. I tried the chicken wings again, and they didn't feel as great as they did. The buffalo wing sauce tasted cheap and stale.

    I'm quite impressed with them. They're the only one I know of who serve organic and farm raised zabihah halal meat. The butcher was nice as well, knew what he was doing, showed us how big the chicken was and did a good job with the cuts.

    They also serve burgers and chicken wings and pizza, all halal of course.

    We tried the buffalo wings and they were soft and fresh. I asked and they said the wings are made fresh everyday. Their zinger burger was okay. The chicken piece needs a little bit more crumbs but overall the taste was pretty good.

    We were pleasantly surprised to hear the Kababjees ownership acquired Aladin, the local confusing combination of a butcher and restaurant. With the introduction of a new menu came Shanghai Express, a Hakka-style basket of offerings within the menu selection. We ordered the classics that would take us across sweet, salty and both. The General Tso had the sweetness one would come to expect from the typically sweet & spicy dish, both chillies and sweet sauce served us well over the steamed rice. Despite being our favorite dish, the General Tso left a lot to be desired on the spicy side of the equation; the larger Desi community that frequents Hicksville eateries would agree. Going to the Sesame Chicken took us down candy lane, offering an overwhelmingly sweet dish many of us only picked up once. The old-as-time Chicken Manchurian visually presented itself as the most balanced and classical dish, yet suffered from the classic Desi-chinese issue of being oversalted. We looked for the best in the categories we were craving and we got what we wanted, but there's room for improvement. Considering the Shanghai Express menu is cooked fresh to order and is in it's infancy, there's already too much to like as-is to not be tempted for a revisit. Once the Aladin team hones in on it's flavor profiles, this will be the best Chinese spot east of Queens by miles.

    One the worst place that is still open some how. They never answer their phone and if they ever do once in a blue moon they will say they don’t sell the item even though I’ve buying from them every week. This is place is a waste time for consumers and waste of space on this amazing planet.

    This store is amazing and the food served here is delicious. Very clean and fast service and the people behind the counter were friendly. I am a big fan of the chicken over rice especially. I encourage anyone in the Hicksville area to go here!

    This place is the best halal meat and grill in Long Island!! I eat here a couple times a week and the food is always amazing. I highly recommend it. If you want halal meat to cook at home you can get fresh organic meat to bring back home at a great price. 5 stars !!

    Poor serivce. Just because they got a certificatio of selling halal. They are cutting peoples pocket. No taste no quality. They are extreamly rude (owner). I will report them to usda and locals about there cleanliness and social distance rule. They allow dine in without following guidness. I wouldnt be suprised if someone get COVID19 HERE. DONT BE FOOLED WITH THE GOOD REVIEWS. IM PRITTY SURE THEY GIT THEM BY GIVING OUT FREE SOUP.

    First try recommended from my cousin had the chicken tenders and curly fries both were awesome! Definitely going back to try the other menu items.
