We had an amazing day driving the Mojito over Imogene pass and down to Silverton and back over Ophir pass! Seeing the other Jeep rentals made us feel grateful for renting from Ajax. Our rental was way more equipped, which made us feel safer and (possibly 😬) my husband a better driver. Julian was flexible, communicated well and was professional yet fun. If we rent again, it will be with Ajax!!

This is a top notch service, I would highly recommend. They delivered the vehicle to The Hotel Telluride (and picked it up at the end of the day) and it was exactly as promised a great custom Jeep Wrangler with lift and extreme off-road tires suitable for any of the off-road treks in the area. We actually had a guy stop us on the trail to ask about the Jeep (he was in a Jeep Wrangler 392 V8 Heim - a pretty High End Jeep itself) and I told him it was a rental, he stated he could believe that as usually the rental companies only offer pretty run of the mill units. We own a Jeep Wrangler and do quite a bit of 4 wheeling on the front range where we live, I can tell you that the ride in this Jeep was much superior to when we take ours out due to the custom modifications, much smoother on the trail. We did Imogene Pass and took our dog along with us and the day was glorious.

These guys are top notch and provide great service - I would rent from them again in a heartbeat even if I had driven my own Jeep down to Telluride, why put the wear and tear on your personal vehicle when this is available.

Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We have rented from so many different Jeep companies in the area throughout the years. We travel to that area every year and rent Jeeps. We have had everything from a Jeep break down on us to reservations being canceled the day prior to our rental from other companies.

We had a fantastic experience today renting a Jeep from Ajax! Very prompt communication and great recommendations for which roads to take. The Jeep was perfect and easily handled anything on the roads we took (Imogene Pass, Ophir Pass and Last Dollar Road). It was definitely a much nicer vehicle than some of the other rentals that we saw on the road. Highly recommend them if you’re in the Telluride area!

Great experience. Being a Jeep owner myself I was impressed with the vehicle, it made difficult trails easy and allowed us to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Communication was great—we were able to get the Jeep the night before which allowed an early start, beating traffic and the weather. Will definitely rent again, thanks!
