I'll preface with I love ACE Hardware and all their stores have been great, BUT... they wouldn't cut car keys with customer supplied blanks. I KNOW they used to do this back in the day so it's an irritating policy change. In my case I drove 40 min to the nearest ACE only to be told the key guy wasn't there. Drove another 30 min to the next ACE to find out they just won't do it. Yeah, this review is because I'm grumpy about it. Great store, rubbish key cutting policy.

I am 89 years old and I don't get around easily. I bought six 20pound bags of bird seed. The young man who greeted me -- not the man operating the cash register -- stood and watched me wrestle the bags from the floor into a cart, wheel them to my car, and wrestle them into my car. He was not doing anything, and did nothing to help.

Point of sale system is so old they can’t seem to find a receipt from only two years ago. Tool I bought from them has a 3 year warranty that I am definitely still within but I will not be able to get help with it because they can’t track purchases. Customer service was fine but if you sell tools with warranties you should absolutely be able to help someone find an old receipt using either their name or credit card.

Walked in and some guy Juan was at the register. No smiles and rude . Seemed to be having a bad day. Honestly keep it away from the customers. Must not be trained in customer service. Felt like he didn't want nobody there . Been coming here for years. Next time I think I will just leave if I see him on the register.
