The service provided by these folks was of fair to poor quality. There was little communication about what was going to occur and no discussion about the stove, chimney and cap beforehand, they just started in...doing I'm not quite sure what, inspecting and cleaning a bit, I suppose. After 15-20 minutes I returned and noticed they had somehow knocked the interior chimney pipe flange at the ceiling loose (see picture), but hadn't noticed what they'd done. I pointed this out to them and they said...nothing, nor did they make any offer to deal with it, help with it, nor subtract a bit off their fee for the time and effort I'll now need to spend setting it to right.

Finally, after an awkward silence, I said that I would deal with it, and asked them what have you done or found with my chimney. They had very little to say; no recap or summary, no assessment of the system and what shape it was in, no real notification of any issues or concerns--basically, nothing that would help me understand what had just happened or in what shape the stove, pipe or cap were in at that point. Again, perhaps my mistake for not explicitly asking if they would "tell me what they found", but c'mon.

Also, finally, there was a pile of ash at the bottom of our woodstove, some--presumably--of what they had knocked off when Ace cleaned the pipe, plus some leftovers from our last fire. They then refused to sweep this pile up, saying the ash would clog their filter "like Mt St. Helens ash"! Wait--what did I just pay you folks $135 for exactly?!?

I would recommend avoiding these folks and, after more thorough research, picking another service for your chimney sweeping needs!

We paid almost 300.00 he swept outside little chimney to our woodstove nothing else didn’t clean inside Or clean glass nothing. He was also supposed to come back to help with inside chimney flute never came back never answered phone again. I don’t think 45 min of work was worth 300.00

I called several chimney sweeps, and Ace got back with me within minutes of leaving a message. I had called just before closing. That was last night. As I type this, he is already finished servicing my chimney, and it’s not even noon. He didn’t try to oversell me. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend Ace without hesitation, and have saved his card for my other chimneys - I know they’ll need him soon!

Update:
When I went to light a fire in my wood burning stove, it was totally blocked, and I called Ace again to bail me out. He got me in the same week. He got it cleared, cleaned, and as messy as that is, when he left, he took the mess with him. I am thrilled with his service, and I'll be using Ace for my two other chimneys when they need him too. Awesome.

Unfortunately i am not able to give zero stars to this business. The man that came to my home was incompetent at best. I contacted this company to clean and get my fireplace in safe working order. I had never had a fire in my fireplace since moving in and was looking forward to using the fireplace during the holidays. I specified that i didn't want two different companies to clean and do any repair work. He admitted me he could do it all so I'd be able to use it for the holiday. The gentleman showed up and looked from the interior and exterior of the chimney. He then proceeded to tell me what it looked like. He explained he seen moss and bird droppings and suggested i install caps. He then told me i had some loose bricks at the top and informed me he didn't want to "mess with it". He didn't clean the chimney nor fix anything. Then expected to get paid $98.00 for giving me a description of what my chimney looked like. Needless to say i didn't gift him the near $100 when he couldn't justify what i was paying him for. I wouldn't ever recommend this company. Your better off getting someone that actually does the work you request.

Despite a number of attempts to contact him via calls, voicemails, and text messages, I never received any kind of response and I was unable to schedule service this year. When their competitors came out, we discovered that there are no actual doors to clean out the bottom of the chimney after sweeping. When we asked the previous owner how Ace could have possibly cleaned it, they said Ace used to "vacuum the ashes out" instead. Our new competitor pointed out that that is essentially impossible, since the only access point is 20 ft up and you'd need an extremely long vacuum. He looked down and found no evidence that it had been vacuumed up because it was a big pile of soot and ash down there.

I mentioned the story to my neighbor, and she told me about how Ace had come and not even gone on her roof during the inspection lol ridiculous. She had switched to this other chimney sweep as well.

Super satisfied with their work. They were both very helpful and knew a lot about chimneys. I would really recommend this father-son Duo to anybody that needs chimney work or chimney cleaning. I will definitely be using this service in the future. Thanks.

This is an amazing father and son business. They simply make sure to do a job well done. Aside from cleaning chimneys, they do dryer ducts and install chimney caps. If you want the job well done, these two are the ones to call.

Made appointment 2weeks out to be here between 11a and 12 nobody showed. Attempt to call and text x 2.
Called one more time awsering my call with another person's name. I said no this is K___ asking what happened. Telling me he was just to busy to come out. Well I say you have 2 week to let me know you were not coming . And waist 4 hours waiting and trying to get a hold of them. There were bad from the time I made the appointment till I got the news that they were not going to be able to get out here. Pretty messed up if you ask me
