Big thanks! I ordered a mix for my raised bed. A1Organics delivered absolutely on time, kept me posted on their schedule, unloaded exactly where i wanted. And the compost looks so good, I am considering growing my own roots in it!

Me and my husband have been coming here for years but since they got new employees they give different prices based on the mood of the day.
Especially the employee Dee she told me “your husband is a bad man” but I’m convinced she just doesn’t like when people stand up for themselves. Very rude and inconsistent pricing. We asked a customer dumping more sod than us and she charged us $90 and charged them $45
We try to avoid as much as we can and go to the commerce city location.

This company doesn’t give a damn about any of their customers. I’ve been dumping there for years multiple times a week. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at all of their locations and they are the least bit accommodating. Never a consistent price. Rude employees. This location especially is an absolute nightmare. Always a mile long line. Never any room to dump properly. If it rains even a slight amount the entire place turns into a lake. You’d think with having the equipment they do they’d fix that. I highly suggest taking your business to Mile high tree care. Also root tree service is opening up a dump as well.

Today I went to throw mulch at this place. I want to express my annoyance with one of the machine operators who started yelling at me and saying things that are not pleasant, just because I unplugged my shredder in the wrong place... The owners of A1 should pay more attention to the personnel they have at their machines...

Ordered bulk compost in 2023. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the compost product was terrible. Dry as dust and hydrophobic. Would look elsewhere if you want alive microbes in your compost

I’ve reached out to A1 per their request 5 times with no response. In other news, I got amazing compost from Wompost today and can’t wait to see under the microscope

I have used A1 for many years, and now that the 2 other places that had done recycle have closed by them. A1 is the only one left to the south. The line to get in some times can go way past the Junk yard and it could take 30 min or more of waiting. The yard is to small for the amount of people dumping. Where you dump in the yard changes from time to time, Some days it all mixed and some day it has it own special pile. Today I had cut grass and tall feather grass trimmings. When I got there she said all the grass had to be dump where the sod was being dumped. She asked if I had any wood. I said no and I asked her in grasses were fine to dump. She said it was fine. I went to the back and dumped and as I was finishing one of the workers told me I could not dump the grasses there. I told him the lady told me I could. Another guy came and try to block me in and said I could not dump the grasses there , even that they were already onloaded.
As I was leaving the lady that told me that I could dump the grasses told me I had to go back and pick them back up. I told her, you told me I could dump them there and she tried to block me from leaving. I told her if she did not move I was going to call the police. She said she was going to call them herself because she said I dumped illegal even that I paid and dumped were she told me. I have been in the business for 22 years and have always dump cut grass and grasses together. Why the change today? One guy that seen what was going on he said that's dumb, look at all the wood mixed from other people dumping. I will never go back there again!!! I found better and cheaper way to dump my stuff now!
