The pastors here were so nice and welcoming. They really made our stay something extra. Our children got to enjoy a nice train ride. Unfortunately we were leaving the next morning or we would have stayed for church, with the local kids.

We have visited the last several Wednesdays and been treated with genuine fellowship. Active Youth Program and wonderful mix of ages in attendance. The Pastor is friendly and the Guest Speakers have been wonderful. When we told them we had a home church but needed to find a Youth Group for Wednesdays, they said we were always welcome anytime. Never once did I feel pressured to leave my church to join them and that's comforting. If you are looking for a church, I would recommend First HSV to anyone.

Of my 50+ years of church attendance to many different churches in different places, this one may very well be the best church I've ever been a part of. Pastor G and his wife Twana are REAL reflections of Christ. So it's only natural that the congregation follows their lead. I love those ppl at HSV First Assembly of God Church.

We are on vacation from OK and while searching for a church to attend i found this one with amazing reviews. After attending today i can see why. So so so friendly GREAT service and wonderfule worship. We will go back when we are here again. We love it here and loved this church just as much. Even all 4 kids enjoyed it!

I have attended First Assembly of Church in HSV for the last four years. We are a family; very loving, friendly, and caring where the Word of God is preached. I thank God for Pastor Ronnie and Twana Gilmore. If you need a church home or just want to visit, we welcome you.

I am from California and I come to visit my best friend Cheryl Trindade of 55 years and I always make it a point to visit this church.
Everyone is loving and friendly.
The pastor is a wonderful man of God and teaches from the Bible.
